The battery in my home alarm system fails every year or two. I also had trouble with the old 4 amp hour battery not lasting more than 8 hours during a power failure. I carefully measured the space I had for a larger battery, then ordered this 7 amp hour battery. It fit easily in my alarm box, and the alarm's battery charger/maintainer has kept it fully charged ever since. I have not had a power failure since replacing it, but I expect to get close to a full day's backup power from the new battery. The battery was well packaged to protect it from shipping damage. It was an exact fit for the original Verizon battery. Installation was simple and trouble free. I would suggest going to the Verizon site if you are unsure about how to replace, the site has a simple, informative video

So far working good in my APC UPS 500ES but have not lost power that would fully test it . Last battery lasted 4 years hopefully this one make it that long , time will tell . So far happy with my purchase

    • Used to replace a battery in an APC UPS
Checked the physical size and the VA rating matched. I have two identical APC UPS units, both showing a fault through a blinking LED. I think the original battery was around 10 years old, so a replacement was due. The terminals in the UPS were a little loose with the new batteries but were tight on the original batteries which plyers pressed the connectors for a better fit to the battery terminals. Even though the original battery measured about the same as the new one, something was wrong with the old batteries.
