In my bathroom remodel, there was no inclusion of a top recessed light. So I had to be creative to make the shower brighter. It is on the pricier side, but a good value for money - as the size, and color options are different. There is a matte finish to the lamp and the touch control makes it easy to turn on and off as you are going in and out of the shower - The base is a big size, and takes up the whole top shelf in my bathroom - but i have additional storage so this did not bother. Bought this based on TikTok claims it’s water resistant and I absolutely hate how the air and lights in my bathroom are one and the same switch. It makes showering at night pose the huge con of “sound pollution” that makes it hard for me to sleep afterward. This would be my solution to that problem. The light, brightness and tone, is nice. But, What is the battery capacity of this? I use it for a week, total maybe 5 to 6 hours, and it dims and dies. For $40, I’d expect it to have a longer capacity. Or do I have a distorted p.o.v. Of value? Speakers, electric toothbrushes, flashlights, all can go longer between charges. What gives? It’s easy to clean, I like that. Everything else is fine. I loved this little lamp so much that I bought 2 more! The shade offers a nice and appealing glow which is further complemented by the matte surface of the stand. I have placed mine in the shower because I prefer ambient lighting over what the harsh overhead lights in my bathroom produce. It’s lightweight, perfectly sized, easy to charge, and genuinely seems to have quite the lasting power since I only use it an hour or so a day.
