I have had a Weber for the last 14 years, and it was time to buy a new one. They are the best so I knew it would be a great grill; I ordered the SPX-435 NG grill from Amazon. I was really hesitant as I never purchased anything from Amazon that had to be assembled in such detail. I had read stories in the reviews on how bad it was to assemble. After looking at Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace Hardware, Amazon was the only one that would deliver and assemble for free. I took the plunge. It was scheduled to arrive on August 2nd. It arrived about 30 minutes in to the delivery window. A young lady met me at the door and said they were here to deliver and assemble the Grill. Did I mention that it was 2:45 in the afternoon in DFW, and it was already 102 degrees outside. I asked her if they were going to be able to assemble it outside on the covered patio. No problem she said, "we do it all the time." They removed all the items from the oversized box and carried everything back to the patio. With ceiling and floor fans blowing and ice cold water in hand, Percilla and Dillion started the process. I checked on them every 15-20 minutes as they kept plugging away. About 90 minutes later they were done. They showed me all the features and explained everything to me. The grill was perfect, and I was estatic. They did a great job and the grill looked fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and expert skills. When they departed, your could not tell they were even at my house. Every scrap of paper and debris was picked up and carried away. It most definitely put to rest any fear of assembly from Amazon. If you live in the DFW area and get these two folks delivering and assembling a product from Amazon, you are in great hands. Percilla and Dillion are true professionals. Kudos to them!     • Poor quality and Weber Stainless Steel rusts???
This fancy grill was very expensive and the igniter does not work! What's the point of paying for a fancy grill and marketing this basic feature, and it does not work! Now, I can't get thru to anyone at Weber or the distributor, and I don't want to pay for additional handymen to continue troubleshooting. Probably a faulty part and I can't even get a replacement. So frustrating. Cheap cheap and sad to see this brand no longer be a leader. And, there is rust on the stainless steel (at least that is what I was told they used)! ... show more

Just bought this grill to replace my 17 year old Weber. From the first cook I could tell a huge difference. Great heat control, digital temperature for the grill is a nice touch, Weber connect works perfectly for me. The collapsible top grate is a great feature.     • Don’t purchase from Amazon.
Save yourself the headache and purchase directly from Weber or elsewhere. Amazon sent me three grills. Two arrived broken and one missing parts. I spent a month waiting for refund of my payment and redelivery of a grill along with several hours on the phone with Amazon customer service and don’t even get me started on that…I purchased the grill from Weber.com and couldn’t be happier with the product. This post is no means a knock on the grill it’s great quality and big. This is just my experience and I wouldn’t purchase from Amazon. ... show more
