I was concerned this would be another cheaply made in China product. When it arrived and I began assembling, it seemed to be made well. After using it I feel it is really made solid and seems indestructible. I'm a little rough on my firewood handling tools, I don't abuse them but, they get knocked around in the back of the truck and banged around, thrown out of the way , not gently handled like laboratory tools! I really think this tool is going to stand up to this and seems to function really well. Just make sure to adjust the parts exactly where they align perfectly and use red lock tight on all the threads and crank the bolts down good. If you don't do this the parts are going to move out of alignment. I failed to do that initially and they moved. Once I did what I am recommending here it is good and sturdy, not moving. Great product!

This thing's built well, can move some serious weight. I've used this to cut up numerous trees, no issues and would recommend.

It is very strong and rugged. It’s great to have on the farm. It can lift most hickory and oak logs up to 18 “ wide and 10 or 12 feet long. Any longer and you’d need a cheater pipe on the handle.

Well made, instructions are lacking and the clamping arrangement, while adequate, will make you wish it was available in a welded or cross bolted design. Clearly this was designed to optimize flat-pack shipping. It would be a better product if sold fully assembled in a way that eliminates the hokey bolt-across-a-gap design.

A very well-made product. The aluminum is thick, the hardware appears to be high quality, the 47" length gives excellent leverage, and it works as described. Logs I could not lift without great effort, are raised up easily and securely supported by the footed lever. I don't have to bend as far to cut the logs with saw. Very glad I bought it.

Definitely a must have for weekend warriors! My husband saw some for less money but after reviewing I chose this one because we have a lot of big trees down in our yard. We even used on a 24” log with no problem. This is definitely solid (no modifications needed like some others) easy to put together and definitely easy to use. You can believe everything the company has said in the description. Update: the feet on the bar it rests on are very sturdy and do not sink into soft ground. Very happy with this product! UPDATE: 10/18/2024 we have used this several times now and no issues at all! No parts have come loose and nothing has bent. Definitely a must have. I’m 5’1” and have a bad leg- but this makes it so easy to use to move logs! As you can tell still very happy 😃
