Pros I really like this grill rack. The flat skewers are built tough and easy to use. They work really well for kabobs since you can move the skewers around the grill to fine tune heat. I have also found many uses for the rack and vegetable steamer (sold separately). I like that it can fold up and fit in the storage under the grill (wedged in but it fits). I know I will get a lot of use out of it and am happy overall. I can't give 5 stars because, as much as I love the concept, I feel like Weber stopped slightly short of what could have been an amazing product. Definitely get a pair of grill gloves for handling the skewers... Cons I was disappointed that the rack did not cover the width of my Weber Genesis grill. There are a few inches on either side if centered. I'm surprised they don't have several models for the different grill models they sell. The set does not come with any rack, so when you replace the raised rack "bun toaster" you need to buy the accessory rack to perform that function. The Elevations rack also tends to slide around since it's too small for the grill width. I think they could have easily made this fit in more securely with some slight tweaks to the design. The extra add-ons are expensive and a few of them could have been included. I've been on the lookout for some less expensive or creative grill items I could modify to fit the Elevations rack.

Used this unit twice after seeing a recommendation by Mike Vrobel from Dad Cooks Dinner. Had my doubts but between that recommendation and the Weber-quality, I decided to give it a try. I loved the way you can suspend the skewers and avoid having the meat stick to the grates, which was always a bit of an issue for me. Considering how widespread the Weber Genesis gas grill is, Weber should have one model that hooks directly into the grill (where it currently has the removable elevated grates). My only complaint is that the skewers are a bit difficult to clean, especially if you use some sugar containing basting sauce. I could imagine that after a dozen uses or so, they may not be suitable for serving. Normal cheaper skewers you may simply replace. These are a bit fancy/expensive to toss. I believe regular skewers will also work on the stand though. Make sure you have an oven glove when time comes to turn them.

I bought this mainly because it was a Weber as I only do kabos every now and then. Weber typically has very nice products, but this piece seems very clunky. I have a Weber Genesis 2 E410 and although this fits, it doesnt have that "snap into" feel, it is very clunky and feels like it was make for something else. I also bought the pan, which amazingly also doesnt fit well with this but that is another review. I wish they made this to where it would "snap" onto the heating rack or even replace it but it doesnt. I will say that the skewers are very nice, probably the best ones I have ever used but the rack itself, not that great for the price, if it was $9.99 maybe.

Want your Kabobs not chared and perfectly done this elevations system for you. The skewers are very presentable, flat so the meat will not roll when flipped, they do not bend from the meat weight when are suspended, they are made of thick stainless steel. A good pair of heat insulating gloves is a must. Can easily change the elevation from the heat source to perfect the gilling. Easily assembeled and folded for storage. The set is expensive eapecially it does not come with racks etc...

When grilling kebabs, it can be a challenge to ensure things are cooked through nicely without charring the outsides. This rack makes it easy, by removing the meat from direct contact with the grill surface, and giving you a variety of heights at which you can place the skewers. The included skewers are high quality, but you'll probably want to buy a second set of them (and you'll need a good glove for taking the skewers out after cooking.) Folds up for easy storage under the grill.

I like this system, using multiple "chicken racks" I can slow cook ribs high above the low flame on my grill. I have also made kabobs and used the grilling basket for veggies and shrimp. A bit pricey, hence the 4 stars, but good quality. Some reviews of the accessories made by dingleberries who didn't research what they were buying should be ignored.

The skewers are great! the stand seems well built but I have not had a change to really use it yet. I'm concerned that using the stand will increase cooking time drastically but I will find out at out next cookout

Love it! We use it often on our Weber grill! Great for Kabobs! I couldn't imagine it being any better! I ordered extra skewers, glad I did, we use them all the time! They are well made and will last a lifetime I'm guessing!
