Bought this grill to replace an old genisis silver I bought second hand. It’s was old and beat up but with a few new parts (grates and burners) it was back in business. It did have its problems though. Mostly the inability to properly sear and heat distribution. After 5 years it’s time for a change. And there it was. The spirt 315 in stainless and natural gas. I pulled the trigger and anxiously awaited my new purchase. And it didn’t come. But that’s not what this review is about. Two days later and I’m in business. Did I add that I got free assembly? Anyways, let’s get to the performance part of this review. First off it’s stunning. I will polish this grill to see that shine. It is truly a beautiful grill. I love the enclosed storage below. It’s adds a great look while also blocking the wind. I keep my grill wok down there (get one if you don’t already)! It lights almost instantly and the lid feels heavy and expensive (as it should). Now let’s talk cooking. My first cook was some greasy burgers and sausages to begin the break in period. After my initial burn off I preheated on high to see what kind of heat I was going to get. Now I was coming from an old genisis and wasn’t sure what to expect. Less than 15 min later and I’m burying the need at 650 degrees. I’m shocked. I can’t even put my hands over the grates (a good thing). The burgers and sausages cook great. Second day I do chicken breast indirect. Cooked perfect. Third night chicken fajitas. Awesome. Can you tell I love this grill? In closing, theres cheaper bigger grills on the market. Like char king for example that a nice man recommended at my local hardware store. But I’ll stick with what I know and love. It’s a 5 star grill. The price is fair. Looks great and cooks awesome. Quit reading and click buy! (Did I mention free assembly)? ... show more

My wife told me not to buy the monument grill. I bought it anyway it looks good I was stainless steel great looking unit but it just did not cook properly. What’s the new full tank of propane and the burner valves off it leaked out empty. Only three uses after that, I thought maybe it was my fault, so I hooked up another bottle of propane, then no matter what I did with all burners turned on it would reach less than 300° I’ve never had so much problem with a grill in my life looks nice but works terrible when it comes to working with flammable gases I know exactly what I’m doing. I have 43 years Experience on my own business doing welding and we used oxyacetylene argon arc propane for cutting so I know their characteristics and how they work this was just a faulty barbecue was not happy with it at all. Trust me on this I should’ve trusted my wife go with the Weber. They are the best , I’ve had three of them. The only reason so many is because I didn’t want to bother moving them. July 16, 2024: Just began assembling the Spirit S-315 NG three burner grill. I’m a long time Weber owner and stunned by Customer Service response to poorly designed or wrong rear panel supplied with my unit. As you can see from photos the back panel does not properly cover the back of the grill. Aesthetically and functionally the panel is not the proper size and beyond looking stupid offers no protection from rain, snow and is a safety hazard. “Step 5” photo of assembly instructions shows rear panel is meant to cover the entire back portion of the grill. Final included photo Weber Site product photo with full back panel! The customer representative at Weber confidently informed me that, that style panel has been discontinued! The Weber site 360 video clearly shows the entire back of grill covered with a large panel, also my wife checked at a local hardware store and their same model has the full panel! An Amazon representative has spent time troubleshooting the panel and has provided me with links for suppliers who do carry a panel replacement. I cannot at this time verify the dimensions of the replacement panels as this will require further research by me. Amazon has offered me a 20% refund to help with my decision. She made it clear all my options are still available to me. Keep as is, try to find correct panel or return within 30 days. I thank Amazon for always providing a level of superior customer service which puts Weber to shame. Update: July 24, 2024 Spoke with Larry (different representative) at Weber. He ordered correct replacement panel and informed me it may take 2 months because panel not in stock. I'm fine with this and will update and change review when panel arrives. ... show more

Great grill! I purchased it as a gift for my sister in law for allowing me to stay while recovering from my knee replacement surgery. Cooked a bunch of meals, very impressed with results. I will definitely consider a Weber for my next grill.
