This unassuming accessory might not look like much, but it offers some surprisingly convenient benefits. Though, it may not protect your bumper as WeatherTech claims it would. This bumper step is very lightweight. Made from a hard plastic material, it feels sturdy enough to withstand regular use- then again, I am 142lbs max. Its weight makes it easy to handle and install. I don't have to worry about adding unnecessary extra bulk to my vehicle. The main purpose of this bumper step is to provide a convenient platform for reaching the roof or loading / unloading items from way inside the trunk. Its design allows for a secure foothold, and the textured surface prevents slipping. Careful though, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JUMP UP AND DOWN ON IT AS IT DOES WOBBLE. This stepper is a must for anyone who loves to go on adventures in the country. If you use Bike roof racks, Kayaks roof racks or put anything above the roof of your suv or van. This makes the process so easy to arrange anything on top. Also get a hitch pin lock if you plan on getting this to safeguard this item.
