  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Blazing Fast, Reliable, and Perfect for Gaming Upgrades
The WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe SSD has been an awesome upgrade for my gaming rig! Installation was super easy — just slot it into the M.2 port and it was recognized instantly. The performance boost is real — game load times are noticeably faster, and everything feels more responsive overall. The 1TB capacity gives me plenty of room for large AAA games, and the SSD stays cool and stable even during long play sessions. It’s a high-quality, reliable drive that feels like a big step up from SATA drives or older NVMe models. If you’re looking to speed up your system and shorten load times without breaking the bank, this WD_BLACK SSD is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe Internal SSD – Fast, Reliable
This SSD completely transformed my PC! The speed improvement is insane compared to my old hard drive. Boot times are almost instant, games load significantly faster, and file transfers are lightning quick. If you're upgrading from a traditional HDD or even an older SATA SSD, the difference is night and day. Compatibility & Fit Before purchasing, make sure your motherboard supports NVMe SSDs. This drive is PCIe Gen4, but it also works with PCIe Gen3 systems (though at slightly lower speeds). I installed it in a Gen3 slot, and it still ran way faster than my previous SSD. Fits perfectly in my M.2 slot, but just a reminder—it does NOT come with a mounting screw, so check if your motherboard already has one. ✔ Works great on PCIe Gen3 and Gen4 systems. ✔ Slim & compact M.2 form factor – perfect fit! ✔ Compatible with most modern motherboards & laptops. ✖ Does NOT come with a mounting screw—have one ready! Format Capability Out of the box, it needs to be formatted before use. If you're installing it as a secondary drive, go to Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac) to initialize and format it. If you're using it for a fresh OS install, it works great once formatted through the installer. No issues detected! Final Thoughts – Perfect for Any PC Upgrade! If you're looking for a fast, reliable, and easy-to-install SSD, this is one of the best options out there. Whether you're gaming, editing, or just need a blazing-fast system, this drive is worth every penny! Just remember to check compatibility, get a mounting screw if needed, and format it before use! ... show more

  • Blazing internal SSD that lives up to the hype
Capacity: 2TB Style: Previous Generation - M.2 2280
I swapped in the WD_BLACK SN770 2TB NVMe drive to upgrade my gaming PC and I’ve been really pleased. It’s noticeably faster when booting, loading large games, and moving big files—the difference between waiting and not waiting is real. The drive feels solid (no weird heat or noise issues), and with PCIe Gen4 support, it future-proofs things even though my current motherboard is Gen3. What I like: the sustained performance is impressive—no big performance dips during long transfers. Using it for video editing and game installs, it handled everything smoothly. It also integrates well with WD’s dashboard software for monitoring health and firmware updates. Tradeoffs: it’s not going to beat ultra-high end SSDs in raw top speed, but for the price it’s a heck of a balance. Also, you’ll need a motherboard that supports NVMe; in older systems via adapters it might not hit full speed. And obviously, once the drive fills up a lot, the performance buffer shrinks—but that’s true for most SSDs. If I were recommending who should buy it: go for this if you want serious internal performance without paying for premium tiers. It’s great for gamers, content creators, or anyone who wants snappy system responsiveness. If you're building a budget rig, it’s one of the components worth upgrading early. ... show more

  • This has proved to be a reliable product This has proved to be a reliable product
This has proved to be a reliable product. In more than two years in constant use and playing games the two 1 TB units I purchased are still running strong. See enclosed charts. The only disapointment was to learn this is a Sandisk product labeled as a WD Black product and it took almost 2 years to do a firmware update, but have had no issues. Be aware that 1 MB = 1000 compaired with many other manufactures where 1 MB = 1024. ... show more

Once I put this baby is, boot time improved and transfer speeds , read and write are just fantastic. No studders or heat issues, i don't even need a heat sink. • Excellent in every way like all WD drives
Ive always had WD hard drives the last 25 years, usually the caviar black HDD never once had one fail. I run them HARD for about 2 years they are on 24/7 and I retire them as backup archives. A year ago I bought one of the WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe to use in my home-built linux tower and another for an external usb and they have been flawless. The tower is on 24/7 and here is the terminal command to check the drive done to-day, as can be seen it's been powered on 6,662 hours the "Percentage used" is how much out of it's expected lifespan has been used so far= 0% It had read 1.63 TB and written 3.04 TB, Ive seen another drive that had 9% used and it had over 39TB written and 17,000 powered on hours, so these are very durable drives! I will still replace it on a schedule like always, but probably 4 years instead of 2. I use htis drive for my operating system and downloading videos, video editing, downloads etc and back up all files to a WD 4TB HDD which as always- I retire as an archive every 2 years. This is a good way to manage your computer- use the SSD for operating systems and use a HDD mechanical drive for long term storage of files and content, backups etc. Unlike HDD, SSD drives can lose power internally over time and the power is what maintains the files on it, a HDD doesnt store content that way, they last much longer sitting as a backup unpowered. Another important thing is keeping the drive and internals of your device COOL, much easier on a tower/desktop, heat destroys electronics. I monitor mine and nothing inside shows any warmer than 116-f In short, the WD SN770 has been just perfect in every way Here is the test results; sudo smartctl -l selftest /dev/nvme0n1p1 4 - 0.0050W - - 4 4 4 4 10000 6000 5 - 0.0033W - - 5 5 5 5 176000 25000 Supported LBA Sizes (NSID 0x1) Id Fmt Data Metadt Rel_Perf 0 + 512 0 2 1 - 4096 0 1 === START OF SMART DATA SECTION === SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED SMART/Health Information (NVMe Log 0x02) Critical Warning: 0x00 Temperature: 27 Celsius Available Spare: 100% Available Spare Threshold: 10% Percentage Used: 0% Data Units Read: 3,200,099 [1.63 TB] Data Units Written: 5,939,548 [3.04 TB] Host Read Commands: 39,247,294 Host Write Commands: 84,914,586 Controller Busy Time: 369 Power Cycles: 69 Power On Hours: 6,662 Unsafe Shutdowns: 37 Media and Data Integrity Errors: 0 Error Information Log Entries: 0 Warning Comp.
