Husband bought me this for my desk at work and i was skeptical. When I left for the Christmas holidays, the green stems had grown but no blooms. When I came back a week later,I was amazed to find 5 gorgeous blooms on it! I highly recommend.

I bought this waxed amaryllis late last January and am about to buy one again. The past few years, I've bought several of these from Trader Joe's for half the price of this one early every December and they have many gorgeous blood red blooms during the Christmas holidays (and yes, two made great gifts). But they're only available there for 2-3 weeks. So wanting another one, I ordered this one from Amazon, and waited for it to bloom. And waited. And waited. I finally decided after 7-8 weeks that it was a dud, but then a week later several buds appeared. And then, about 2 1/2 months after ordering it, I had five gorgeous blooms....and more a few months later. Don't believe the info you read that tells you waxed amaryllis only bloom once. I got all of mine to bloom again a few months later. Just cut the stems way down, at an angle, and keep them on the window sill in the light.

You may get one that blooms like crazy or you may get a dud. I bought 8 at Christmas last year and the one I bought for myself was the dud. No bloom yet and it’s almost March. But I’m glad all the ones I gave to friends were beautiful

So pretty with its waxed bulb No maintenance, waters itself. Just watch the bulb grow into a beautiful flower. Great little gift to brighten up someone’s day. Can plant in a pot or in a flower garden or just enjoy inside!

Oh my goodness! I am reluctant to write this review because these have been absolutely AMAZING. I bought these several months ago and I don't know what these wonderful folks did but the flowers are incredible. They are now blooming for the THIRD time. They are huge, multi-flowered stems. One even created a seed pod that we are nursing so I can try to grow some in the coming year. These are just incredible in size, endurance, quality and most of all enjoyment. I also bought my daughter some and hers are also continuing to bloom. Great price and product that will please all!

I have sent these Amaryllis out to some family members for Valentine's Day. They were all delighted. They keep sending me photos showing the latest blooms. To think that they are also maintenance free, no watering needed is also an added marvel. This new order is for another family member for Passover.

It has a crack in the container but seems ok so far. It’s growing. Can’t wait to see the flower it never bloomed. It just got some yellow leaves
