First, upon unboxing these, I thought the hardware and legs were missing. But the first line of the Assembly guide states that these parts are stored in the seat underneath the (velcro) dust cover! The manufacturer did an excellent job on these chairs (I have four: two brown, two blue) and with the instructions. The first chair took me about 45 minutes to assemble because it was new to me and my dominant hand is injured but the next three were less than a half hour to assemble. Manufacturer notes were fairly clear. I think the front chair leg placement for assembly could be more clearly drawn as the legs could be squared to the corner or tight to the internal brace- but not both! My husband, who has mobility problems, has found it easy to use his walker to line up properly and be seated with no difficulty or extra manuvering required.     • Extraordinarily Dangerous!

I purchased 3 sets of these chairs as part of a full kitchen/dining room renovation which has just been completed. They were easy to put together, and looked quite nice. Last night i had a few close friends over for supper, and to reveal the now completed space. When one of my guests went to sit in the chair, which has never been used until now, the ENTIRE FRONT LEG BROKE OFF AT THE BASE! This obviously threw her to my TILE floor with a fair amount of force, and we spent the rest of the evening finding out that she had suffered a concussion. All I can think of now is that this was a young, and healthy (and small) girl. Had it been an older person the outcome could well have been tragic. So a person suffered an injury from one of these chairs, and I am stuck with 5 more chairs which I cannot use. Worst purchase of my life. I will try to upload pictures later EDIT......Within 2 days of my review the seller reached out to me to offer me a choice of a refund or replacement even though my return window was closed. This level of customer service impressed me tremendously as it is so very rare. While I was obviously distressed about the broken leg I also realize that mistakes happen. I definitely found cheaper chairs when I was searching through Amazon, but I have found that you get what you pay for. These chairs were more expensive but they had better reviews for a good reason. We chose the new saddle brown to go with our table in the kitchen and it looks perfect. They were easy to assemble and appear more sturdy than Our other ones. Time will tail how the weather holds up, but I am hoping for the best ... show more

My 30lbs toddler leaned back against the backrest just slightly right after I put the chairs together and the whole leg cracked. Super flimsy and not worth the buy. Bummed because they look good and are easy to clean, but definitely will not hold up to regular use.

The Saddleback chairs we purchased are a very nice color. The chairs were easy to assemble and came with extra hardware just in case you might loose a nut or washer. The chairs are built with sturdy springs in the cushion and the back rest has adequate lumbar support. I would purchase again.
