We love that there’s a metal ring for the foot rest. Out last ones had wood and you couldn’t put weight on the foot rest bc the wood would crack. I ordered the color tan, The quality of these are beyond expectations, we love the swivel, my boyfriend is a heavy weight bodybuilder and he’s very comfortable in these. I’m on the thicker side and I’m very comfortable in them also. We already had one milk spill from one of my kids and as long as you get to it quickly the liquid rolls right off which I love. We really like these stools for our kitchen island. They were easy to assemble. The bottom of the legs have little knobs that can be wound in or out to make the stools level (so they don't wobble). But when we pull the stools out or in to sit next to the island, those knobs move too easily and then the stool wobbles again. We need to adjust them every couple of days. When I tell you I looked everywhere for months, I looked everywhere. This chair gave us the best of both worlds. My husband wanted swivel, I wanted backs to the stool and the overall look we both liked. We were shocked they all came at the same time. We only needed three so when we purchased the 2 as a set, we were sure the 3rd one would come later...nope. Very sturdy attractive stools. Assembly was not difficult. Each chair took 10 minutes. The only difficult part was keeping the legs together while putting the ring on. Designer should have made a way to keep the legs together. But everything turned out great.
