The chair is a good size to accomodate may sizes. I am 5 ft but I didn't buy it for me. This is my review. If I sat in it like a regular chair, I couldn't reach the back of the chair with my feet on the floor. I am concerned the seat and back may not have enough padding for longevity because the leather has a lot of movement when you press in on it and wrinkles a bit. It is comfortable, and the controls work smoothly, with no noise, a plus. The back doesn't come all the way up into a horizontal position; it slightly leans back. I bought a recliner cover for everyday use to keep the leather nice. Aside from the loose leather coverage issue, which won't be seen when I cover it, it's a really nice chair, and the larger size doesn't standout just looks like a regular recliner. ... show more

Are recliners are beautiful you will not be disappointed for the money. Amazing. The big man chair fits my husband perfectly and my chair fits me super sturdy easy to put together. The seats are kind of stiff, but like anything new it has to be broken in. Good quality just saying.

We bought two chairs. They were easy to put together. They are heavy so it will take two people to assemble. They are comfortable and the reclining function works well. I like that they can be pretty close to the wall and still recline fully.

Better than I thought for the money. Looks great and functions perfect. If ordering for a larger person be aware that the seat and back may break down faster than a more expensive brand. That's where they cut some of the cost. Still comfortable.

The recliner itself is ok at best, but the packaging was rough. The shipping box arrived mangled, cut, ripped, and beat up, though thankfully the chair wasn’t damaged. The manufacturer really should invest in better packaging, ideally double-boxing instead of the thin single boxes used for each piece. Be aware: if you’re not on the heavier side, this chair takes time to break in. It was rock-hard for about two weeks until consistent use finally loosened it up. I’m well below the listed weight limit, but it still needed a solid break-in period before becoming comfortable. I purchased this chair to replace a worn-out hand-me-down recliner while recovering from shoulder surgery. The reclining function works well overall. It’s not the smoothest mechanism out there, but it does the job. I even lubricated the pivot and glide points with dry silicone spray, which made little to no difference. Size-wise, this chair is built like a tank—big and sturdy enough for larger folks like myself. That said, if you’re taller than about 5’8”–5’9”, your feet will likely hang off. I’m 5’10”, and when fully reclined it hits me just above the ankles. The frame and overall support feel solid and well-built. Assembly is straightforward and the included instructions aren’t really necessary. Stability is good for the most part, though the armrests feel like the weakest point of the chair. Pros: • Solid, sturdy build • Convenient all-in-one upright return button • USB-C port is a nice touch (not fast charging, but works) • Lighted buttons are helpful, though only illuminated during operation Cons: • Expensive for what you get • Very poor packaging quality • Ships in three separate boxes and may not arrive all at once • Long-term motor durability is questionable • Reclining motion isn’t especially smooth or fast Bottom line: It’s a strong, functional recliner that eventually becomes comfortable, but the price, packaging, and average mechanics keep it from being great. Worth considering if you need something sturdy and roomy, but manage expectations. Mediocre chair sums it up. ... show more
