It has elastic around the neck so that it’s snug on small necks (kids or super skinny teens) and also extends for larger necks! Exactly as pictured, the pattern is the same as the photo. The quality is great, I bought this for replacing my old capes. I’ve washed this once in the washer & air dried and so far is holding up well. The color is nice and opaque, the cape is not heavy, it’s lightweight. It’s easy to put on and take off.

If I was using this cape on patrons, I would have returned this cape. While the hem is perfectly sewn and the cape is cute with my black die spots washing out well, the metal hooks (holding the neck together) were sewn symmetrically (causing a poke in the neck) instead of Asymmetrical to hook properly without poking the neck. Also, the cape is understandably fabric and not plastic; however, the black die bled through the cape onto my bra. (hence the four stars).

First off, the listing shows black and leopard. This review is only for the leopard as they are verrrryyy different quality! Cape is on the thinner side, but not transparent. It should work for a cutting cape but I won’t plan to use it as a chemical cape. It is swishy nylon and a cute print. Does have stretchy neck with metal clasps not snaps. Overall, it’s okay for the price but I won’t buy again.
