But,...after looking for a while for a good water pick I have to help the next one who may be looking. I was using an older version, which was a lot noisier, and it had a way messier piping arrangement. It also had to be plugged into an AC outlet. With this one, all of these issues are solved and solved well. 1] No need for AC power. The battery lasts for more than a week. You can move it to a charging location without the water tank so no spillage risk. BTW with the previous one, the AC cable was too short, so the water pick could not reach and set at my sink side (we have two). 2] The water pipe is ingenious. It's pre-curled and the handle sticks to a magnetic area in the base. The water pipe did not lose its curly flexibility, which I expected to happen, and the white pipe took no space on the countertop. It's like magic. 3] I'm not sure it was the intended feature, but there is a double start operation of this unit. So you first push a button on the base top, and then, when the pick is in your mouth, you can start the water operation. This is great as it avoids squirting water everywhere in your bathroom. I'm sure I had a few accidents where water went in the wrong direction and left me with a clean-up. 4] The power of the water coming out, is great. Can be a little too much if you have very sensitive gums. There is a way to control this power on the base. 5] The key for me, after buying the hand-held ones, and returning them, was the amount of water that was in the container. All these handhelds do not have enough water for me. Sorry. This unit's tank size is perfect. I do not have to re-fill mid-way and can use it for cleaning up at one time. This was a key feature I was looking for. All in all, this is a 10 out of 10. or 5 out of 5 in the Amazon system. It's a good product. Will buy again in a heartbeat.

I like the size, I like the fact that it’s cordless. Is the perfect size to fit on the bathroom counter without looking like it’s taking up half of the counter space. The black looks very nice and works really well. Kind of loud though but not enough to deter from the positives. Is a very satisfying experience and you can adjust the level of pressure on the side of the box. 4-5 I find is a good setting for me with the gum attachment so that I can get in between each tooth and watch all the food wash out. I prefer these over the handheld water flossers because of how the water drips down your hand that I would much prefer the thought of it only dripping over the attachment rather than the whole machine for sanitary preferences.

I actually loved this Waterpik until it stopped working. As other reviews have shared, the battery does not last long. I was able to get nine months of use before it completely stopped working. This is a defective product and should be recalled. Update (10/5/23): I contacted customer service. They have figured out the issue, and it worked. I was advised to clean the connector contacts with vinegar. The magnetic contacts need occasional cleaning. It is now charging fully and holding the charge.

I have 2 corded Waterpik devices but recently purchased this one. No cord( except to charge battery) - 2 weeks now and still going strong. Great flow , easier to use slide adjustment. Looks good. I like it so much, I’m considering buying another ( for downstairs ( and retiring my other 2 corded Waterpik devices for service well performed). For now, if it’s your first “Waterpik-type device” purchase, this is the one I am comfortable very strongly and enthusiastically recommending

This Waterpik offers 10 power settings to choose from. Easy to store when not in use. Love this product so much that I bought a second one for another family member. Highly recommend. No leaks. Holds a charge for a long time. It is a little noisy but I don’t mind. Does a great job!
