Features

  • Efficient filtrationThe impressive 10 x 4.5 PP filter and GAC filter combination achieves a 5-stage filtration, effectively reducing large particles and sediments larger than 5 microns. The whole house water filter also reduces chlorine, lead, benzene, mercury, peculiar smell, sand, rust, and more. GAC filter adopts natural coconut shell, which reduces funny taste and odor, while improving the water taste for you. With this filter, you get constant pure water with a better taste.
  • Longer lifespanThe GAC filter is expected to be changed every six months, while the PP filter is due for a change every 3-6 months. Waterdrops house water filtration system features longer lifespan, therefore saving your potential replacement cost. The durable housing is made from food-grade materials only. It has passed tests to confirm work under the pressure of 25-90psi without external damage and crack. The pressure is daily water pressure in USA. Please rest assured to purchase and use.
  • Stable water flowThe whole house water filter system has passed 100,000+ water hammer tests to ensure the stable and safe water supply. The large water capacity is enough to provide the whole household pure water with a smooth and stable flow rate.
  • DIY installationThe installation is so simple that you can do it on your own following the instructions in the manual. The included wrench facilitates the replacement, installation, and related processes. Please wrap the telfon tape appropriatly, wrap too many turns or too thick will shorten the life of the copper.
  • Protects water appliancesThis 10"x4.5" whole house water filtration system protects your water pipes from rust and extends the lifespan of your water-related appliances by delivering clean water source without clogging.

  • If it leaks, you are using the wrong fittings - NPT fittings required
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
Lots of negative reviews complained this leaks. Very small, tiny water drop leaks. I am 99% sure they are leaking because they used the wrong fittings. I know this because I had the same problem. I went to Menards and bought what I thought was a standard brass 3/4" fitting for PEX. Turns out Menards only sells MIP fittings that are not tapered. Us non-plumber folks don't know the difference. This MIP fitting will screw in just fine and tightens down but you will end up with a small, weeping leaks. You can put all the teflon tape you want on it and it will still leak. You need to NPT tapered fittings. The only place I was able to find them is NPT Sharkbite fittings at Lowes. With these NPT fittings and about 10 wraps of Teflon tape, zero leaks. ... show more

  • Very easy installation and crystal clear water after filtration.
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
I installed this at our cabin to replace the very cumbersome and difficult to winterize water softener. Our well water to the cabin is very hard (iron), and is light burnt orange in color prior to filtration. After the inline filter install, the water is crystal clear with no bad smells or taste (although we usually just drink bottled water). The way my system is set up, I needed to be able to feed the incoming line in from left to right, so in able to do this I just unscrewed the 8 screws on the mounting bracket and rotated it 180 degrees, super simple and easy install. While we've only been using this for about 2 weeks now, I'm sure that we will be even more happy with this new system when it comes time to winterize in Sept. ... show more

  • Not too sure…
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
Ordered it a few weeks ago. Easy installation. Had our water tested before purchase. 2ppm for iron. This got good reviews plus there was a $20 coupon. So thought I’d give this a try and see how well it does with the iron filter and sediment filter setup. At first it was great. Still a slight smell of iron but not to bad. Now today about two weeks later maybe three the iron smell is back. I’m going to keep the filter system but I guess ultimately I’ll need an actual iron tank that oxidizes the iron. Wanted to try this first and was hoping it would work and the filters would last at least three months. Also as you can see in the pictures I used brass fittings. The inlet side I was able to almost bury the fitting completely and no leaks. The outlet side. It still has a tiny leak. I haven’t had a chance to fix it with either more Teflon or plastic fitting as others have suggested. ... show more

  • It works!
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
My water comes from a 100+ year old hand dug well, which always produced clean, clear, nice tasting water. However, after an extremely hot &dry season last year, the water developed an odor, and looked yellow (in a clear glass, it looked almost like apple juice and had rotten egg smell). I shocked the well several times with bleexhy, which remedied the situation for about 2 weeks each time, then it returned back to smelly, yellow, water. I ordered a water drop sentiment filter with a clear housing, as well as this water drop dual filter system, and had a plumber install all 3. The difference was noticable immediately. The odor is gone, and the water is clear. I wish I had this done sooner, and would absolutely recommend these filters to anyone having the same problem I was. Great products and very affordable. Thank you, Waterdrop. ... show more

  • Very happy customer!!!
Style: Carbon Filter and Sediment Filter
Had this installed a few months ago. I noticed the taste of our water changed almost immediately, and the overall quality of it increased as well. First filter change and HOLY COW the color change.... both were completely the color of rust, and one had a lot of particles and sediment in it as well! So glad we invested in this! ... show more

  • Looks and seems
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
Looks and seems very nice, but the Plummer who was to install it said it would not work with the system that was installed in my home already and he would look for a few options for me. I will say he could of installed it but he was honest and didn't charge for coming out.

  • Better water
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
I use this product for my whole house filtration system. I have well water at my location and that I had my iron and sediment in the water. This filtration system cleared my water up and my pipes are beginning to clear up as well from the rust and sediment buildup.

  • From Orange to Clear!! Goodbye Iron
Style: Reduce Iron and Manganese Filter
So far so good. We are actually using this filter at our off grid cabin - it’s hooked up to our new well outside. Our cabin is too small for a in-house filter system. For the price you can’t beat it. Figured we would give it a try. Really surprised when we hooked up the filter to our hose and filled an empty water bottle to test. 3 hrs later it was still sparkling clear. It’s only been one week and I’m not sure how often we have to change the filter (directions say every 6 months). We will see. Our kids have campers on our property too and filled their water tanks!!! ... show more
