This system is great, was not hard to install and the replacement filters are a great price! Save yourself money and install this before the fridge (don't keep buying the 60+$fridge filters anymore!!) dishwasher and kitchen sink lines so they all have clean water. They also have an app too help you figure out when to replace each type. I've had no issues with leaking or water pressure/flow rate.

The filter was so easy to hook up. My water before Water drop has 5 times the chlorine and Ammonia of a swimming pool. Small particulates and other chemical like fluoride. So after hook up we had the water reanalyzed and it seems most of the Ammonia , chlorine,and small particulates are gone. I am however going to have the water analyzed again. I ordered a kit to see if this is as good as it seems. So far the water tastes great,and the odor is gone. So cudos. I will let you know how the next test comes out. Good or bad. I hope it shows safety! Bad water is a real problem. A Florida problem! Filter your water for safety and health!

I installed this because I was using 2 Brita filters on the countertop by the sink. I was looking for something that did a better job and worked fast. This also freed up counter space in the kitchen for me. Install: easy and straight forward I was done in less than 20 minutes. The unit comes with everything you need except a few basic tools. After install it takes a while to get the air out of the system but once the air is out the water comes out nice and clear. The water (at least in my case) noticeably tastes better. The cold water runs at the same speed as if the water filter wasn't there. if there is any less water pressure,I couldn't tell the difference. After 2 months of use I had no leaks and the filter system is going strong with no issues that I have noticed. The only kind of annoying thing is that you have to remember when you need to change out the filters. I taped a sticky note inside the cabinet doors to remind me exactly when I need to change out each of the three filters. One needs to be changed out at 6 months then another at 1 year and the third filter needs to be changed out at the 2 years mark. Overall It is a great system and I suggest it as an upgrade to a Countertop Water Pitcher System or instead of getting a countertop pitcher filtration system in the first place.

Had this for over a year now, replaced the first stage filter twice and the second stage filter once. Hooked this up specifically for our refrigerator water line, as there is no drain nearby for an RO system, and the in-refrigerator water filter ONLY applies to the drinking water system, not the ice maker. Note, our water in the Greater Phoenix Metro area in Arizona is just bad. It has to be treated very heavily, and the amount of minerals in the water could be considered a concern. To the point that I've had to replace the heating elements in our hot water heater twice in 5 years, regardless of annually draining the tank. Water definitely tastes better, and our ice is actually usable. Not completely free of mineral build up, but it is noticeably lesser in the last year. It works, nothing extremely "must have", just good quality. Only downside is the lack of ease to replace the filters. When changing the filters, it must have the OUT port opened in order to release enough pressure to unscrew the filter canister collars. First, always cut off the water supply going IN before doing anything, then disconnect the OUT. Unscrew the collar for the filter(s) being replaced, slowly lift the entire unit from the canister, replace the filter, and set back into the canister and screw back on the collar. Run a few gallons of water through it to pull the air out of the new filter.

Although the municipal water here is highly rated, with low to undetectable levels of heavy metals and organic toxins, and the water infrastructure is modern, especially compared to older cities up north with aging or lead pipes, it’s clear how effective the RO-level filter (on the far left in the photo) has been in just six months. The filter in the center is rated for 12 months, and it seems I didn’t need to replace it yet. As for the carbon filter on the far right, which is designed to last 18 to 24 months, it appears I could have easily kept it in place for at least another six months. The installation was fast and easy, and the filter had little to no impact on the water flow at the kitchen faucet. The ro-like filtration performance without requiring additional remineralization cartridges is a significant plus for our area. Caution: You need to take your time to align the threads on the retaining collars after replacing the filters to avoid cross-threading and leaks. *It isn't difficult to do, it doesn't require special skills, but you must take your time and be deliberate in screwing the collars back on.*

Installed this thing 6-months ago which was simple enough. Lately I’ve noticed some floaties in the filtered water - almost looks like pulp. I figure this means it’s time to replace the filters! And this is where things took a turn for the worse. I’ve been utterly disappointed. After an hour of battling to change the filters I give up. The unique wrench they give you barely fits into the preset grooves and with a ton of manual force I can’t unscrew the darn thing. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter. And I’ve looked all over the internet to find zero solution. So now I need to try returning the filters and figuring out a different filter brand.
