I installed the UV sterilizer for my existing RO system. The installation was quite easy and straightforward. However, after turning on the inlet valve, only a stream of water came out and there was consistent flow. I found there was an instruction called “UV sterilizer flushing - remedy” and followed the steps but it still doesn’t work. This seems to be due to a bad design. I also noticed the ring light turned on and off randomly which is not the way it should work. I am trying to contact Waterdrop customer service to see if there could be a fix. update: the customer service is great and send me replacement in no time. The replacement works perfectly!     • It leaks.
Leaks everywhere. They told me to re-cut the lines to make sure the cut was square. Did not make a difference. Customer service says this happens sometimes and "technical assistance" will contact me via email in 24-48 hours. Very unhappy and now have a wet undercounter and no water.

Easy install snip your line, stick both ends in until you see the grey tabs pushed up and a click, stick your blue lock collars on amd you plug it in and done! Viola! You have bacteria free water. Some people complain that this device will not reduce the ppm count of the water going through it. a few anaerobic bacteria will not change the tiny electric conductivity of the water. This machine does turn on when water flows through it and turns off as soon as the water flow stops. It is the good product that is not leaking. When you do have a large accumulator tank for a small reverse osmosis system, this guarantees that any bacteria that could grow within the bladder of the tank will not survive the heavy light treatment.
