I need to update my review and hopefully it helps others decide. I first reviewed this product stating there was no change in taste, and did not recommend this product, but after a little more time, we could tell a difference. It seems that maybe the 5 minutes that is suggested in the instruction manual may not be quite enough time to cycle water through the filter before using. The taste is more like water through a filtered pitcher we had used for years. We really enjoy it. The installation went very quickly, it only took about 15 minutes to install. I would recommend this system, but just a reminder, it may take a little longer to cycle water through before you can tell a difference. Wanted to add, customer service has been excellent to work with. We've discussed our concerns when we first made the purchase and installed the unit. The customer service rep was very helpful and wanted to help resolve any issues. Very pleased, I feel we will be enjoying this for years to come. Have to give 5 star!!! ... show more

Installation was very easy- my husband was able to it himself, no need for a plumber! We first installed one of these in the kitchenette our basement for my in laws bc they prefer room temp water & that’s where they stay. However, it was so awesome we got another one for our kitchen upstairs for cooking. I love it! We have “city” water and it actually makes the tap-water taste better than even our refrigerator’s filtered water! I’m have recommended this product to friends & my in laws bought one for themselves as well. PS - we have had them for over 2 months now & still working great. ... show more

Ill keep it short and sweet but the flavor improved greatly and I dont taste the chlorine taste from the city water anymore. I actually had people taste it and they could tell the difference. Its pretty easy to install and took about 30 mins because I wanted the tubing to be hidden away. I recommend it! ... show more

    • Easy to install and does a decent job.
This was very easy to install and it does a good job filtering, at least taste wise that is. I installed this in a bathroom sink because I was tired of having to bring bottled water upstairs every night. Thought I would give this a try and so far it has been pretty good. The taste is about the same as bottled water and it is a huge improvement over the water straight from the sink. I did have to drill a hole in the sink countertop but that was pretty easy with a small diamond hole saw. The connections couldn’t be easier and mounting the filter was super easy. It has an included sticker mounting guide which made mounting so simple with no guess work. So far the filters have done a good job and the water pressure is very good. I am an adequate handy man around the house. The installation is a little challenging, but with patience all should be fine. A side note, make sure all of the connections are secure, especially the ones connected to the spout and the hose connected to the water valve.

    • Everything you need
I was looking for an under-sink filtration solution and this kit has everything I needed. Didn't need to buy anything additional from the hardware store, the bypass valve and fittings were all there and everything worked well. All you need is a hole in the countertop and this kit provides the rest.

This was very easy to install. Water quality seems good. High flow rate, probably because of the large size of the filter. Good solid dispensing spout. As long as I can get replacement filters, I'll stay happy with it.
