Installation was a breeze. Water tastes great. Faucet looks good. We've been able to get rid of the filter pitcher we normally keep on the counter. I had to drill my own hole in the stainless steel sink - that probably took longer than the rest of the installation, but I feel like I could have drilled a much smaller hole than they specified. I chose this because we just got back from an Airbnb and they had a filter and my wife said "I wish we could have one of thsese at our house" so I started watching YouTube videos to see how it was done, figuring I'd pay someone to install one. But after watching a few installs (all with the previous model of this same product - where you hang it on the wall), I decided to give it a go. I ordered it (and a drill bit for cutting through stainless steel) and they arrived the next day and barely 48 hours after leaving the Airbnb, she had that same functionality in our house. ... show more

    • Good Filter for Taste, Not for Reducing TDS
The Waterdrop 10UB PRO Under Sink Water Filter works and it definitely produces clean water but.. here’s my honest take: when I tested it with a TDS meter, the total dissolved solids (TDS) came out basically the same as my regular cold tap water. That makes me wonder if the filter is really lowering the minerals/solids, at least according to that measurement. I’m still using it and will keep an eye on it over time to see if it makes a bigger difference as the filter gets used. Installation was easy (no drilling required), and I like that it comes with its own brushed nickel faucet and a time reminder so I know when to replace the cartridge. Overall, it seems to do a good job filtering, and I’ll see how the performance holds up long-term — but if your main goal is lowering TDS, it didn’t make much difference for me so far. ... show more

This is a high quality well made filter way better than the much more expensive ones in the Big Box store. It had safety Clips to help keep the water lines plugged in and even a clamp down safety nut on the line that goes to your water source so it don't blow off from the pressure. Also the tubing is 3/8 in instead of one quarter like all the ones that have been available before and that means very high low. I only got the 10 which is not as good of filtration as the 15 and yet it tastes great. ... show more
