My 2 yr old Terrier is tan, and almost bald on her back. She gets dry skin and we live in the high plains desert. Dry air is pretty much a fact of life. She seems to enjoy getting soaked down with this. She doesn’t lick it off. It’s not oily or greasy, it soaks into her skin. Over the last few weeks, it appears that her back hair is starting to fill in and the dry skin patches are disappearing. I have hopes that this will help restore a new balance point, where her natural hair helps keep ker skin moisturized, but I believe this had made a significant difference. I call this a win

For starters, my dog has EXTREMELY sensitive skin and a TON of allergies. We joke that he’s allergic to everything—even things like anti-itch allergy sprays break him out in hives. However, this hydrating butter worked perfectly for him. I put it on his itchy spots which tend to get really dry from his scratching and nibbling. Also, the smell is really nice. Its not overwhelming and leaves him smelling fresh and looking shiny.

We adopted a rescue Rhodesian Ridgeback mix the other month. The rescue told us that when he was found, the suspected he had some mind frostbite on his ears from being on the streets in the winter months. I purchased this and rubbed the lotion on the tips of his ears to stop the crust leftover from the frostbite from cracking, and hoping that it would heal. I did this every day twice a day for weeks. I can say after a month and a half of doing this religiously, his sweet ears are smooth as can be. I would use the leftover lotion on my hands and smooth it over his coat and on his legs, and his fur is so shiny and soft! It looks so much better than when we first adopted him! A little goes a long way. We still have half of a bottle left, and I continue to use it on his coat to keep his fur nice and soft in these cold winter months :)

To be honest I was nervous about trying this on our dog due to the fact she has horrific allergies. However I got the guava one and our dog had no reaction to it!! We live in AK so our winters are so so dry and this has helped our pup so so much!! Very happy next time I will get the unscented one next time cause the hubby didn’t like the the guava smell but I do. 😊

I have a fur baby with extremely dry skin and she always smells as though she could use a bath, even though we have her bathed and groomed regularly. THIS leave in conditioning lotion is exactly what I was looking for. It is absolutely NON - GREASY! I simply pumped a couple of squirts in the palm of my hands and rubbed them together and then through her fur - the light fragrance and soft, smooth feel of my Rose's fur was such a pleasant surprise. I have absolutely no doubt this will benefit her skin as it left my hands so soft, what a wonderful product. This lotion arrived securely packaged without a chance of leakage. It's thick, which is good. Glad it's not runny. I still use his wash out conditioner. Was wondering if the wash out conditioner was causing his scratching, but doesn't seem to be. This conditioner can help occasionally, but I won't use all the time.

My dogs tend to get dry & itchy really easily during the cold and this has really helped them a lot just using once every few days, and it has a great smell that lasts at least a week but isn't too strong either (only noticeable up close). The fur on my dogs have also noticeably gotten softer after just the furst use. Although with 2 big dogs and a small one, the small bottle definitely doesn't last too long, will have to buy the gallon soon.

I was going to wait a week before I left a review but after noticing the decrease in amount of dandruff my dog was producing I couldn't wait! It's only been two days and this stuff works AMAZINGLY! I read TONS of reviews before I pulled the trigger. I bought the pomegranate and acai scent after reading reviews about the guava being to strong and the unscented one smelling like baby powder (I DEPISE THE SCENT OF BABY POWDER). This stuff smells amazing and isn't overpowering at all. it is not sticky and leaves my dog feeling as soft as a plush blanket!
