I cannot say enough about this fan. It is probably my favorite new gadget and it now goes with me everywhere. I travel a lot and it has earned a permanent spot in my backpack so that no matter where I go, especially places with spotty AC, I can help myself feel a little more comfortable. It’s big enough to pack a punch (the highest speed ACTUALLY feels like something, I know, crazy, right?) but small enough I can take it with my on flights and such. I’ve used it on my tray table on planes and trains, cooled myself off via my nightstand at hotels in Europe where they seem to refuse to have AC go more than half-speed, and even had it sitting in front of me at Wimbledon while I baked in the sun (but instead of wearing out my wrist like everyone else, I got the same “value” of a manual fan from this guy). It’s not AC, so it’s only ever gonna move air around, but sometimes when it’s just a little air movement you’re looking for, this will do the trick. Oh, and did I mention that this functions as a battery pack too?? Such a good battery in fact that I could run it on high speed (4) all night and it lasted the full night! I don’t find the noise to be too loud, though I expect that to change as it ages. No remote control and the only adjustability is the 4 levels of power, but I can’t say enough good things about this device. Buy it.

Excellent travel fan

I got this initially for car camping. I used a bungee to secure it to the grab bar and circulate air. It has good air flow even on setting #1 and was able to last for 2 whole nights before needing to be recharged. I definitely plan to start taking it with me for all my travels because it is lightweight, small, quiet and has good battery life and it was quick to recharge. Super happy with it.

I bought this because I got caught up in the recent UK 'heat wave' and spent several sleepless nights in hot & humid hotels. I'll soon be headed back to the UK, and then Asia, but now I'll be better prepared! Overall this is a great travel fan! It's compact, very quiet, charges quickly (plus it comes with a dual C/USB connector which is super convenient), runs a decent amount of time on level 3, and throws out a lot of breeze. I also like the LED battery and power indicator. It also came with a small screwdriver and spare screw, but no instructions for what they are needed for. The only 'con' is the kickstand is just one leg and won't allow the fan to sit up 90+ degrees, so if it's on a bedside table that is level or slightly higher than the bed you'll have to figure out how to prop it up at a downward angle. A simple change to the design of the kickstand that included split supports would enable the fan to easily pivot downward. I'm not sure why they made it with just the one solid support because it cuts the range in half. Update: Have run this fan practically every night & day over the past 3 months and it is still working like it was new! One thing I didn't notice or really appreciate at first is how 'focused' the breeze stays... specifically, it doesn't dissipate as the distance from the fan increases. I noticed the blades more curved than other fans, so I imagine this was by design. In fact it works so well that on my most recent trip to the UK, which was during a particularly intense heatwave, the building didn't have central aircon and my upper-level room stayed very warm and stifling. The breeze from this little fan cut right through and gave me constant and welcomed relief from the heat, and I was actually able to get a good night's sleep! Anyway, for the price I don't think there is a better fan out there. For its compact size it really has amazing performance.

Possibly the best purchase I will make this year

I love this fan. It far exceeded all my expectations. I was expecting a dinky, weak little guy. I was so wrong. It’s quiet, powerful, and the charge lasts a long time. I tested it and running 8 hours on speed level 1 only dropped the battery by 20%. I bought it for a trip back home. My parents keep their house at 83 in the summer and my in laws dragged me to a rustic summer camp. This fan is the only reason I survived. It fit really nicely in my personal carry-on item for our flight. I even used it in the car during the road trip to camp. I tucked the stand into the pocket of the seat in front of me, I was easy breezy the entire trip. I love this fan so much it lives on my desk now. My office is the hottest room in our house, so it’s helping me avoid heat stroke during interminable on-camera meetings this summer. My husband keeps stealing this fan, I might have to buy him his own fan. If you’re going somewhere hot, or live somewhere hot, or even just like a little air movement, you need this fan. Everybody needs this fan.

Great, rechargeable fan that moves air well and holds its charge.

I bought this for our dog's seat in the car primarily, so as we leave him inside on safe temperature days with the windows open a little, he also has good moving air in his immediate space. It operates quietly, doesn't scare him, moves the air well and the charge lasts a long time... much longer than I need for that purpose. I use Velcro loops that I added, to hang it from the front headrest. I've also used this fan by my chair for me on humid days. Very effective air flow in a low profile, easily portable fan.

Versatility, Quiet Blades and Energy used is truly amazing

Lightweight, low noise, powerful fan. I am highly impressed. This fan is used in a car to cool down by beloved pet. It is so important that my beloved pet is comfortable and happy. Using the car's air conditioner makes me and my pet sleepy. The filters within the car are vacuumed weekly. This fan has four settings and it is a strong. I purchased another camping fan and it didn't have the strength to push the air thru. I purchased a S hook from Home Depot and adhered it to upper hand part above the car dwindow. I tied a rope and , pointed the fan in a downward position. People do not realize in USA that they can get wind disease along with dampness in the body. This happens when people use a fan.. When a fan is pointed directly at a human or a animal..their blood becomes thick and stagnated. I made sure how I positioned the fan, so it doesn't hit the neck or shoulders of my sweet boy. Every night before going to bed I massage my outer portion of heel and ankle going up for 3 minutes. By doing so I break up my toxins and dampness. I also do this to my precious pet. Do it slowly on all four legs. Put calming dog music on while doing this exercise. This helps to remove dampness out of the animal's body. If you can wear clean socks to bed, this helps in receiving less dampness. I love this fan because it doesn't use alot of energy. Mine went for eight hours straight and only 50 percent of energy was used. I recommend humanity to purchase this fan. You can place it in a knapsack and take it anywhere. It is so light.

Great Fan - Misses the mark for cruising - see comparison

This review is for the Warmco 10000mAh Portable Desk/Travel Fan model D3. The fan was protectively wrapped in a plastic bag which was then inside a cardboard retail package, along with the charging cable and a mini screwdriver. The product description lists this fan as 1.6"D x 7"W x 8.4"H and it’s hard to measure exactly, but it seems accurate. In comparison to its bigger brother with the 20,000 mAh battery, this fan is easier to hold/carry around, and it weighs less than a pound at 14.1 oz. It takes a little over 4 hours to go from zero to a full charge. There is only 1 button to operate this fan which works for both the power and to select from the 4 fan speeds, so it is simple to use. The digital display is easy to read and cycles through the fan speeds before switching over to continually show the battery level as it’s running, which I totally love!. While plugged in, the battery level blinks until it reaches 100, and the fan will also work simultaneously if so desired, The front detachable grill is held in place by 2 small screws, which are easily removed with the included screwdriver, and affords access to clean the fins and such. The stand has rubber feet, and moves to adjust the angle that it sits at, plus it rotates 180 degrees to double as a hanger. It is a little tough to pull the stand out when it’s snapped closed, and for me the difficulty in this design makes it less desirable than some of the other fans. I tested this fan against a few others shown in my photo to check the battery life and compare features. The other fans I tested were the Warmco 20,000 mAh, the MaGolfin 12,000 mAh, and the Amacool 10,000 mAh. I have already written my review on the Warmco 20000, and plan to write reviews on the other 2 fans, so you can seek those products out for further details. This fan has a 5 fin design and is relatively quiet; like most fans, the higher the speed, the more noise it generates. Unfortunately, the battery life stated in the item description is not accurate. My tests showed that on level 4 (high) this fan ran for 10.5 hours which was actually a half hour more than stated. The issue with the battery life surfaces when testing levels 3 and below. On level 3, this fan lasted 13 hours 20 minutes, which is almost 2 hours less than the stated 15 hours. Level 2 produced even worse results lasting less than 8 hours when it was expected to run for 19 hours. Thus, this battery ran for 11 hours less than advertised, which to me is a big difference! This seems strange since on high it lasts even longer, but I can only report what I witnessed. I chose not to test level 1, and cannot confirm the run time for this level. My everyday fan that I’m using at home is from Warmco, and I’ve been pleased with it. At this point, I’m seeking a smaller fan to take on an upcoming cruise with me, and I thought this looked like a viable option. The item description for this fan says it is a “Cruise Cabin Essential” but it has some downsides that make it not 100% ideal for me. The biggest and most obvious is that it is lacking a magnet which would allow it to secure to the cabin walls, ceiling, etc. The 2nd thing it’s missing is a night light, which would be helpful for finding my way to the restroom without waking others in the room. The final thing that is not a deal breaker, but more of a bonus feature that’s nice to have, would be a built in timer function, which this fan doesn’t offer. That being said, this fan was not advertised as having these features, so I won’t deduct any stars for the lack of these things, but given the poor battery performance, I have deducted a star. Although this fan is a handy size, and will run throughout the night, I have selected a different fan for my trip that offers a strong magnet, a nightlight, and easily rotates 720 degrees. Very seldom do I give a five star review but this thing does everything it says it’s going to do. It is compact yet powerful. I usually set it a couple of feet away from me on setting number one which works fine for me from a 100% charge It runs 8 to 9 hours and when I turn it off, it generally has 69% charge left. it does have a slow charger so it says, but it takes me less than two hours to charge it from that 69% up to 100%. I do not recommend using this charger for a cell phone unless you have additional time because as I said, it is a slow charger. The build seems to be pretty solid and I’ve used it for about a week and I really love it.
