I purchased this as a household electrodomestic and mainly use it to make a purée of chicken hearts and livers (with water) and carrots to be added to rice for dog food. Power is not the issue, nor is the vortex created by the bowl/blade design. The problem lies within the blade mechanism and how it attaches to the base. the billet aluminum wheel did not come with a “key” to remove it so there’s no way to remove the blade unit and get out all of the nastiness that wraps itself to the blade post just under the blades. I ended up bending a piece of 1/4” rebar scrap i found in my garage into the form of a “U” and it works well. the only issue is that the entire process feels a bit like tearing the machine down every couple of uses. also, there’s a stainless steel bearing (akin to what skateboards use or used when i was young) and those typically do not like moisture nor humid environments. I assume that is why the seller who slaps the name Wantjoin (no website or parts, incidentally) on an otherwise mass produced blender advises against submerging the base in water. The bearings are Gobrs 608RS Abec-9 red sealed with grease ball. They shouldn’t be used for this application in my not-so-humble opinion. You’re MUCH better off removing them before first use and replacing them with a ceramic 8x22x7mm ceramic bearing (there are 2 stacked). i suggest replacing them before use because they will bind to the stainless steel shaft and it’s a pain to get them off without damaging the threads of the shaft and destroying the blender. Or use a copper mallet if your caught in the position i was. Poor planning and downright frugality prevented this machine from being a stellar product but with a little creativity it can be. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing I would say stronger then vitamix it’s 3 horse power and 2200 watts. I have made all kinds of smoothies and even a hot soup. If you have any issue with this blender moving while in use it could be your counter tray a towel under it I didn’t but I have heard the real vitamix sometimes does. Also if you want the container to sit nicer I took Velcro and wrapped only on one of the black prongs s that the container sits on. Save yourself a few hundred dollars also comes with a tamper I will upload my soup video What was in my soup chicken broth mix vegetables spinach a whole tomato a few mixed veggies two spoons of cracked bulgur wheat carrots some salt pepper a little bit of turmeric one piece of garlic and some Italian seasoning. Blended on high for 5 minutes then did an extra 3 minutes. You can top with cooked chicken and some nuts of your choice to give a nice texture. ... show more

Ok- so this was more blender than I had banked on. It's very powerful. I'm accustomed to smaller non-commercial varieties. I bought this one because it promised more power and it's red. It has taken a bit of time to get use to it, but I do like it. Just know that if you don't have the lid on, you are in for a huge mess on pulse. Be aware it is also loud (Not that all blenders aren't loud.) It also has a plastic pitcher and I'm not used to that, or the fact that it can't go in the dishwasher. Still, it's very easily cleaned. The first thing right off the bat is that the container leaked after a month of use. The bottom piece where it connects to the motor rusted and had to be oiled. The motor always smelled like it was overheating no matter what I blended. You absolutely can't get the bottom wet when washing which is difficult to not do. Customer service never got in touch with me after Amazon said they could not help with the leaking container. Don't waste your money. ... show more

SEAL between blade & Pitcher came apart and leaked all over kitchen table. I had to reset the base after it dried out! with difficulty, I finally was able to re-seat the blade and tighten (with great difficulty) the under-mounted ~3 inch (diameter) seal nut/washer, however it works only a couple times before it comes apart & leaks all over again. This should have been a reverse-threaded connection, so the circular torque applied by the spinning blade does not loosen connection. 1-year Warranty, but I have not been able to get a replacement from seller. ... show more

This blender is awesome it is very easy to clean very fast makes the best homemade hummus ever super fast and no time at all also I make my homemade date sauce in it super fast. So far this has worked well for me. Mostly used for smooties, buy definitely get a nice smooth blended texture. Gets the ice and frozen fruits with ease using the pulse feature. Lots of power. My search led.me to this option, most power for the price range.
