I wanted a simple smoothie maker that my kids could use independently. This fits the bill. If you follow the directions, add ingredients in order, and don’t overfill, it blends them perfectly. In order: Fresh fruits/veg Leafy greens Yogurt / liquid Powders Frozen ingredients / ice I sometimes overfill, which is easily fixed by adding a bit of water and shaking it. Using a pulsing action blends it smooth every time. It’s very easy to clean. My kids can simply rinse the blade, which they’re able to handle safely. As long as they rinse it right away, I can easily wash with soapy water later. I wish I had sprung for the extra cups, but I’m trying to minimize clutter. As soon as one person makes a smoothie, the rest of the house wants one. Not a big deal, we just dump into another cup. The ability to throw a lid on and go is super convenient. Lid does not leak and the cup fits well in my car holder. A bit noisy, but not as loud as my blender or food processor and to be expected when smashing frozen ingredients and ice. It looks nice and doesn’t take up a lot of counter or cabinet space. For a quick, one and done smoothie, I can’t say enough about how great this is. P.S. To the person who said add spinach, you can’t taste it - you were right! I now put a handful of fresh baby spinach and a teaspoon of flax seed in every one. Ground flax is also a great addition. Update: Okay I have had my blender for just a little over a month. It no longer works. Not happy at all. It worked great for awhile and now not. I just received my ninja blender. I LOVE it. I tried two other brands before the Ninja and I hated them. The Blendjet personal didn't have enough power to chop and blend my smoothie. It had horrible cups. The other blender I tried was a full size and it had trouble also. I received this today and made my smoothie and it was amazing. It was powerful with it's 700 watts. Blended and chopped really quick. It cleaned like a dream and the cup are great. I would recommend this blender. ... show more
