I bought this because I have IBS and my nutritionist recommended that I start making smoothies. So I found this blender to start making them and it didn’t cost so much money. My mom had bought a really expensive ninja in the past that was $500 that she never used and ended up donating the whole thing. So I saw this one and thought why spend so much money on something I’m never going to use. So this one came with the main unit that blends. Then two cups that you put let’s say the fruit in and milk or water. Then the blending piece with the knives. Then the two lids that you screw onto each cup after you are done for two people. Then have parts that you put up or down to keep bugs from getting into your smoothie. The cups are marked with measurements. So the blender has a cord that you plug in . Both cups can be used . So you put the fruit into the cup and let’s say milk. Then you screw in the piece with the blades. Then you turn it upside down and put it into the blender and press down and it starts blending the fruit into a smoothie. It really works fast and pulverizes it . It’s pretty powerful for a little machine. I was really surprised! I thought it wouldn’t have much power. Within seconds it was done depending if you put frozen fruit or fresh fruit. I used frozen fruit so I had to do a little at a time. Then when I was done I used the second cup to do the same because I made one for myself and one for my daughter to share. Then I screwed in the top of the cup and you drink from the cup straight. It has a lid especially made for drinking that comes with it. The machine is very durable and I bought the extra warranty but the machine is under warranty for a year. I just love this machine. I actually think it’s better than all the gadgets that my mom bought for $500 that she never used that she donated. This was so much cheaper and I’ve used it so many times since I’ve gotten it and I will use it many many more times in the future. What I also love is that it is so easy to clean with soap and water and it’s easy to get under the blades of the top. I highly recommend this ninja! ... show more

This smoothie blender is exactly what I needed for making smoothies. My countertop blender was too much of a hassle to keep using. This blender blends right into the very cup you’ll drink from which is so convenient. It blends a variety of items really well - I put in a banana, dry oatmeal, almonds, almond milk, and ice in my smoothie and it blended everything quickly and with ease. The cup size is perfect as opposed to other smoothie blenders that come with some unnecessarily larger cups (24oz+). I bought this Ninja Fit to make my morning smoothies. I had been using an old, large blender with a smoothie cup attachment, and didn't realize how much nicer using this Ninja Fit would be! I usually use protein powder, frozen fruit, ice, and water. Whereas it took lots of pulsing and like 40 seconds to blend with my old blender, this one you can totally pulverize everything in like 15-20 seconds! It's so powerful! I've now tried more combinations because it's so fast and easy. It's also much smaller on my countertop. I have been using it a couple times a day for a couple months with no issues. It's easy to clean. It only has a 16 ounce jar, which sometimes is a little small, I didn't realize you couldn't buy a bigger jar like 20 or 24 ounce to use with it, so that was a little bit of a bummer, but I am making it work. The only thing I don't like, the design flaw I mentioned, is that when you put the blade on, it goes OVER the top to screw on, but then when you put the cover on, it fits INSIDE the top to screw on. So you make your smoothing and the liquid goes all the way to the top, then you unscrew the blade attachment, and there's a bunch of smoothie coating the threads on the inside of the jar where you are supposed to screw on the lid. So you have to get a paper towel and wipe around the threads on the inside of the jar to put the lid on which is kind of a pain. But the blender itself works so well I'm going to keep using it. ... show more

This was really quick to set up! I had the blender unpacked, washed, and had a frozen mango oat milk protein smoothie made within a few minutes. Blending in the same cup is a huge plus as you can just put the lid on it and go, and cleanup is minimal. Thankfully it can go in the dishwasher which is basically a necessity in our household. It’s very easy to operate: keep ingredients below the max line, screw on the blender top, seat it in the base with the 4 tabs lined up with the matching notches, then press down on the cup to blend. The motor and blades were surprisingly powerful, and I was able to blend frozen mango chunks, protein powder, and oat milk to a smooth consistency without any issues. If you'd like to have blended drinks more regularly but the effort or mess has been a barrier like it was for me, this simplifies things enough that it's much easier to make it routine. ... show more
