I researched lots of blenders, looking for one that would be easy for an elderly family member to use. Most blenders have some sort of twist to lock component, are too heavy/big, or aren't easy to clean. This one is perfect for someone who doesn't have strong hands/wrists or has arthritis/osteoporosis. No twist mechanic needed here - just put the tumbler on the base and push down. This has been game changing for my elderly family member, allowing her to be self sufficient when grinding up her food. I can also confirm it grinds up anything (meat, veggies, etc.) as fine as you would like. Pro tip - if you want it really fine, release and push down again multiple times instead of just holding it down. Big picture, I really like this Ninja blender. I have been using it for about two months now, making smoothies 3–4 times a week, and it has been very efficient. It pulverizes ingredients extremely well, and cleanup is quick and easy. The two preset Auto-iQ programs for one-touch processing with automatic start and stop are brilliant ... I love this feature. You can push a button, step away, and come back to a perfect smoothie every time. The unit feels solid and well made, with quality materials that inspire confidence in its durability. It replaced a very old smoothie blender, and this one has honestly taken my smoothies to a whole new level. I originally purchased this product to make smoothies, but it turned out to be much more versatile than I expected. I’ve been using it regularly for over six months now, and it has become a permanent part of my kitchen routine. When the product arrived, it was well-packaged and securely protected. The first impression was very positive. The materials feel solid and well-made. Visually, the product looks exactly like the photos shown on the listing, which I appreciated. In daily use, I haven’t had any issues with setup or operation. It’s very easy to use, and the blade is much sharper than I anticipated. I’m honestly careful not to touch it directly because it feels extremely sharp. I use it around two to three times a week, mostly for smoothies but also for sauces and quick food prep. Overall, the performance has been excellent. One of the biggest advantages is that it comes with multiple containers. This is very convenient, especially when preparing larger portions or when I don’t want to wash a container immediately. The containers are dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup easy. I’ve washed both the blades and containers in the dishwasher many times, and there has been no dulling or visible wear. The blade handles ice easily and blends very efficiently. It really feels powerful for its size. As a small note, this is not really a negative, but the blade is extremely sharp, so extra care is needed when washing it by hand. Because of the sharp blade, I would say this product is better suited for adults, and children should only use it under supervision. Overall, I think this product is well worth the price. So far I like the blender a lot. No sealing rings to change when they leak, as in my last blender the Nutribullet. So it is pretty straightforward, nice big 24 oz cups and blade assembly fits great. It was purchased in November of last year, I use it about once or twice a week. Great for protein shakes, smoothies with spinach and mostly softer vegetables and fruit. I haven't tried it with ice yet, because it is still cold here. It makes me want to use it, which I didn't with my other blenders. I'm hoping it lasts, because it is the best personal blender I've ever had, so far! 4 stars because it is still in its newer stages. Plus it looks really nice. ... show more

I got this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. It was a replacement for the one I broke (and somehow even melted the lids on), and this one has been great for making smoothies. It blends frozen fruit really well and comes out smooth as long as you don’t overfill it and you add enough liquid. The single-serve size is perfect because it makes one good cup at a time, and cleanup is easy since you blend right in the cup and just rinse it out after. I bought this and then immediately returned it because I thought I found a cheaper blender at a competitive store which I did in that cheaper blender worked out well for me, but I think I should’ve kept this one over getting the cheaper blender. This one did work out well it is easy to use. It was not too heavy because I used to pack it in my suitcase and take it with me. All the pieces and parts are easy to use. It is a quality product. it blends up the smoothies very well and definitely worth the money. The materials are also great as far as it being in a blender and then a cup to drink out of I just was able to save some money by buying a different product and that’s what I did and I kind of regretted it. ... show more
