Pros: 1. Very pretty, I immediately loved the purple color. Looking at it made me happy since it was so cute. 2. It's pretty sizey, most people can definitely fit everything they need for school. I've fit a calculator, pencils, pens, and an eraser with no problem. Cons: 1. The threading is pretty delicate. On the second day after getting the case, I got it a little wet and rubbed it a little to dry, and a thread snagged out. 2. It's not the most convenient in a backpack filled with other school things like a laptop, binder, water bottle, etc. I used to have a 3 ring pencil case in my binder, and this was my switch to a pencil case not in my binder. Before, I would immediately have my pencils out with my other supplies, but now there's an extra step of taking out the binder and then digging around for the pencil case. It's more annoying when the case is in "expanded" mode (which is needed to fit the calculator) because it takes a couple seconds to find the right zipper since it looks kind of similar. Finally, with so many other things in the backpack, it takes up too much space. At this point I just throw my pencils and calculator into the front of my bag because the case takes more time and space than having everything separately. Overall, the case look great, but for me as a student, it's less convenient to get out and takes up too much space in my backpack. ... show more

The main pocket is able to expand which is quite convenient. You can also fit quite a bit in the mesh pocket. The outside material feels very durable and I like the simple design. The zipper doesn't get stuck and isn't too small. I left my pens open one time on accident and although the inside was stained, the ink did not bleed onto the other side. Its cute, exactly like the picture. I put highlighters and pens in the pockets and it's not bulky at all! if anything its flat. the only thing is if you have small things behind the flap it will move around and sometimes fall out. It does get a bit dirty just a few pencil marks and led dust and I've only had it in my backpack but it depends on how you take care of it ... show more

Fits ALL of the pens I would ever need to take notes or journal. BUT it has a very heavy chemically smell when you take it out of the packaging. Had to let it air out for an hour or so then I could use it.

I got exactly what I expected, fits a good amount of pens and pencils and it is still small enough that it can easily fit into anyone's backpack. I use mine every day but this would be great to use to travel with art supplies and markers.

Got this for my ten year old son who hoards writing tools and accessories. He’s happy with it. So far it hasn’t broken, which is amazing. He tends to stuff his pencil pouches too full and they break quickly. Having multiple compartments helps him stay organized and limit what he packs into it.
