You get what you paid for, but this desk is great value for how large it is. There are hundreds of motorized desks out there. The higher you go, the faster and quieter they get. This is a fairly large desk and fit my needs. My wife wanted a desk bigger than her old 48"x28" desk, with some extra space to store her work laptop in addition to her desktop. This desk has a built in wire tray management at the back, which is great for storing a singular power strip so the desk can freely go up and down without worry about power cables being too short. It also has a niche headset holder, but she opted out to remove it so it wouldn't interfere with moving in and out of the desk with her chair. The desk took about 30 minutes to install with 2 people and it was quick and easy. No extra tools needed as it came with everything. There are also memory settings which is a big plus. My current desk does not have this, but to add one would've been a $100 adder. This desk is already pretty cheap at $191. The only grip would be multi piece desktop, but that would probably be a more expensive desk as well or a custom built one ourselves. Great desk for the value! ... show more

If I could, I would rate this desk as 3.5 stars. The desk itself nice looking, and it came with a lot of great accessories including a wire management system. However, it is not very sturdy, and within the first day I had issues with the motor to bring the desk up. Only one side of the desk would raise. I read some of the FAQ’s and found out it was an issue with the rod connecting the sides of the desk. Although I “fixed” the issue, every once in awhile the desk still will not raise correctly. Also, I noticed a couple of scratches on the desk after I opened the packaging. It’s not made of the best material. All that said, I am satisfied with the desk overall. It was easy to put together and is nice looking. I like that I can program 4 different heights so my husband and I can both set it to our liking. I wasn’t looking for a high-end desk, just something that would get the job done. This one fit my criteria and was within my price point. If you’re looking for a cheap option for a sit/stand desk, I’d say this is a good purchase. If you want something a bit sturdier for long term use, I would look elsewhere. ... show more

Expectations were somewhat low going in but this thing delivers. There are a couple of things to pay attention to when it comes to assembly (as seen in some of the other reviews that clearly were assembled wrong) but they are generally well pointed out in the instructions. It is super solid, super smooth and quiet going up and down and looks pretty good. The two cons are 1. it's made out of sections and the veneer pattern does not match between them (only applies to the wood pattern color) and 2. it gives an error if going too low on it but very easy to fix with the reset buttons (without losing memory settings). It also really benefits from running a furniture repair marker (or black sharpie for the black color) along the edges of each section where the top veneer meets the side part since it has some white gaps that are a bit unsightly. ... show more

I was worried as this table is so reasonably priced compared to other options. Setup was easy (30-45mins for one person), and the parts seem heavy duty and high quality. Tabletop is the typical "ok" quality that you see on a lot of lower priced furniture/tables. Motor is quiet, display can be set to inches or centimeters, and the table raises quickly. I don't know if I just received a bad copy but only one of my legs goes up and down while the other won't move. Went back to read assembly instructions and everything was done correctly. It makes the desk lopsided so I've left it at the lowest level so both sides are even. Also entirely unplugged it in fear of accidentally hitting a button and breaking the wood from the movement. I contacted support twice and they've been extremely unhelpful in sending a replacement leg. They are requesting that I send the entire desk back first (every single part!) before anything can be done even though I just need to replace one piece. I live in NYC and I don't know how I'm supposed to disassemble this whole heavy thing, somehow fit it all back into the original box, and then haul all of that to the post office without a car. I then asked for a partial refund or to get the manufacturer or seller's contact so maybe they could help me, but Amazon again ignored my request and said I need to mail the entire item back first. So I am stuck with this broken desk at full price without any help. There are so many standing desks out there. Save your money and go buy a different one to save yourself the headache when something goes wrong. ... show more

If you want a sitting/standing desk that doesn't cost a lot this one is for you. The rustic finish is amazing. I have had this table for almost 6 months. It was very easy to assemble, instructions were very clear. I work at this desk for 5-6 days a week, 8+ hours a day and it goes from 29" to 40" several times each day. I have not have an issue with it. Desk is very sturdy. The only problem I had, and this is most likely a user error, is programming the 4 buttons. I was able to get button 1 set for 29" and button 4 set for 40". I could not figure out how to program button 2 or 3. This is not a huge deal to me since I only need two buttons for my sitting height and standing height. You can see the line where the two pieces of the desk meet and it used to slightly bother me but I got used to it. Really not a huge deal. I have the 48x24 desk now, its a good size for two laptops an a headset dock. Not much room for anything else, but I only needed to accommodate those items. I will be purchasing a larger one soon to accommodate more items. ... show more
