They hold up fairly well but it will wear out the connection points between the base and tge cup but it does take a long time. I really love this blender for my daily routine. It makes it so much easier and faster to make smoothies, especially on busy mornings. The size is perfect for single servings, and I like that I can blend and drink from the same cup—super convenient with minimal cleanup. It’s powerful enough to handle fruits, protein powder, and softer ingredients without any issues, and the compact design doesn’t take up much space on my counter. The 11-piece set is also great because it comes with everything you need to get started. The only downside I’ve noticed is that after blending for a bit, it can sometimes give off a slight burning smell. I’m not sure if it’s from running it too long or just the motor heating up, but it’s something to be mindful of. I’ve found that blending in shorter bursts helps. I drink a protein shake every day, but shaking it by hand is tedious and doesn't always mix it properly leaving it with some lumps. The last straw for me was walking my Fitbit steps around the house while shaking the container not realizing the lid was not secure and left a trail of chocolate protein shake all over the floor. Okay Amazon, what can you do for me. I found Magic Bullet on sale and decided to give it a try. I loved it instantly. My shake is ready in seconds with no lumps and better yet, none on the floor! I also add fruit to my shake some days. It's also great for beating eggs for scrambled eggs which come out so fluffy compared to hand mixing. Works well on pudding mixes too. Powerful blender and quick to chop. Very very minimal, almost absent of a lag with button presses, feeling seamless. The lids and ring liners fit perfectly and hold sturdy when closed appropriately. This is an awesome purchase for its value. My only ick is it can sometimes not chop the ice all the way enough for a smoothie.
