On this windy, cold and rainy evening in Gotham, I took my new coat out for a trial run against the elements. Cold and wet? Not me! As the listing suggests, the jacket kept me "toasty" warm, the large hood covered my head, and the Nylon exterior kept every drop of rain away from me. Halfway through my walk, I put my unnecessary collapsible umbrella in one of the large pockets. I was impressed! Sometimes big puffy, bulky coats can be a pain to get on and off. Again, this jacket excelled. Easy to put on (though I'm not sure of the purpose for the elastic arm straps), zip up, then to take off and unzip. The zipper functioned very smoothly. I didn't need to use the thumb holes in the windproof sleeve lining simply because it isn't *that* cold but I suspect it is a feature I will come to appreciate. The two exterior and one interior pockets were great for carrying my earbuds, keys, building pass, and all the other paraphernalia I seem to travel with. One minor disappointment. Attached is a picture of part of the "Care Instructions" included with the jacket. It would be difficult to conceive of a worse combination of pale and tiny font. I had to take the picture just to try to read it. Other than that, this is a great jacket and I highly recommend it. I hope that this review has been helpful to you. We've tried a couple different coats for our child, and most arrive undersized. Not this one. Right sized. It's also extremely warm, unlike some of the others we've tried. We've had freezing weather since getting and it's been warm and comfortable. The zippers work extremely well, something we've found lacking in other brands. The coats has straps on the inside (see pic). Not sure if those are supposed to be worn or if they're for hanging the coat on the back of chairs, but either way (wearing over your chest or not) is comfortable, so they're pretty much a neutral as far as wearing. The hood is not detachable, unlike other coats, so depending on whether you want that, choose accordingly. Overall, this coat is miles above others we've tried.

Ordered a 2X but this fits somewhere between a large and an XL. It is definitely windproof and water resistant and for cold winter days it provides a lot of warmth. The materials and zippers are good quality. The inside suspenders are great for when you're carrying a backpack and just want to carry your jacket over it without putting it on. Thumb holes on long sleeves are always a plus and usually part of well made clothing and this jacket is no exception. If the sizing wasn't off it'd be five stars, otherwise a great jacket. For windy days, this is an absolute must. For heavy rainy days, it's ok to be out maybe 20 minutes before the seams will start getting wet. Also compared to other winter jackets this jacket is fairly lightweight but provides excellent warmth.

Affordable cold weather parka. Its puffer design provides exceptional warmth and windproof protection, while the hood adds extra coverage. The medium size fits me perfectly. I usually struggle with the long or short sleeves, these fit like a glove.

I love the thickness of this puffed coat! It will definitely keep you warm during the chilly weather. It’s also great for rain and snow. It has sufficient length for tall people. I appreciate the thumb holes and the most unique part - suspenders on the inside! Although I’ve never seen this before, I love it! It’s so convenient when you don’t need to wear your coat but still need to carry it. Just throw it over your shoulders like a backpack! Game changer! The hoodie is also generously sized. The pockets are there and I like the inside hidden pocket for extra needs that need to be secured. Highly recommend! I hope you find my review helpful.
