As far as i know this unit works, as it is cooling nicely. Unfortunately the door will nor stay closed. I am hoping that being new the gasket has to compress around the perimeter of the door so I have strapped it closed. Although this would ordinarily be a deal breaker, as long as it freezes food it will not be in my house where looks are important, I do not plan to return it. I will add to this review as time goes on if the problem resolves itself ... show more

    • Good deep freeze, but design limits storage space
It was delivered quickly and works great. Only issue is that you lose storage space with this front door design as the shelves can't be removed and you have to make sure there is room for door to latch and seal. Traditional top door deep freeze this same size provides more storage space. Overall good product but avoid front door and go with top door unit if you need more room for your freezer products. ... show more
