I purchased this refrigerator a few days ago and I’m happy with most things but I’m very very unhappy with how hard it is to open the door. You really have to use two hands because it actually feels like you could pull the refrigerator over on yourself. Don’t know what the problem is, but I’m guessing that the Door needs to be something other than the way that it is other freezers I’ve noticed. The door is very easy to open. Delivery was on time and done very properly. I am very happy with my new tall freezer that I always wanted, but have to mention about the green sticker saying ‘garage ready’. It was so hard to remove! I had to use Goo Gone and 90percent alcohol, and it took good 30 minutes to remove it completely! Please use removable sticker, if it is going to be that ugly green! Handle is cheaply made, so tricky to assemble, but looks nice and functioning. Door is very tight, and it moves the whole unit whenever trying to open the door. My wife and both disabled. The first delivery of this item was a fiasco. We cleared a path all the way to our laundry room where the freezer was supposed to go, but they dropped it off in the dining room leaving our grandson to finish bringing it in. They were rude about it. We let it sit a few days, knowing that to be the standard procedure. When we turned it on and set the thermostat low, it never froze anything. We called to have it replaced. The second delivery went better. We made sure the path was clear. They still refused to take it to the laundry room, but were at least polite in refusing. Two days later, a crew came to get the first one. They refused to come inside at all. Our son happened to be visiting and somehow got the freezer up the stairs to them. The new freezer is working fine, but if I had known what a pain it would be to get to this point, I would've bought it elsewhere. ... show more
