I'm really happy with the 6.5 cu ft freezer. Runs quiet and uses less power than a 100 watt bulb. I've got it on a power monitor right now and it shows less than $4. a month to operate. It is actually Model # EFRF694. Luckily it was delivered to my house by an Amazon truck. I have my doubts about the condition it would arrive in if UPS delivered it. I was so happy with their delivery that I ordered a 7.5 cu ft refrigerator and it arrived at 6:02 AM in perfect condition. I just happened to check my computer at 6:15 AM and thought maybe the delivered notification was in error, but it was in front of my garage door waiting to come in, I never heard the truck. I've read the negative reviews on these items, but so far they have been working perfectly. The sides don't get very hot at all, just warm. The cooling in the freezer runs through the shelving so you don't have to worry about blocking a fan vent. I packed mine full and there are no issues. Packaging is adequate for normal deliveries, but UPS could be a problem. It needs to be kept upright and the corners could get damaged easily. Need I say more, its a crap shoot. I needed a new freezer quickly. It came within a few days. I live in a small senior apartment with limited space. This freezer is a perfect size. It cools down quickly and remains at a constant temperature. I had a small chest freezer and this one being an upright is far more convenient. There is a very adequate interior. My product came perfectly protected. It was in pristine condition. I would highly recommend this freezer. It also is very quiet. Although the price was about a hundred dollars more than I was going to spend, I feel that it is going to be worth it over time. ... show more

It looks great but it came with a few scratches around the door opening like something was inserted to pry it open. The protective plastic wrap was also peeling in places including the area with the scratches. The freezer took overnight to freeze a glass of water then I loaded her up. It has been a month and now it is producing an excess amount of frost and burning the contents. I'm not sure why it is doing this, it seems to seal all the way around. Oh well, it will do until we get a new unit to replace our main fridge/freezer that broke down. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I just got this delivered 20mins the guy who delivered said Don’t plug it in till 24hr late so I still opened it and placed where I wanted it but I noticed there is a big dent on the outside, the fridge inside is good its just the outside that it’s damaged dented and what it looks like its deep that whatever that white stuff is its powdering off. ( im guessing what its used for insulation ) Anyways I read the reviews of how many people posted about damages and I wanted to order to see if I some how got a good one and unfortunately mine was damaged… I guess this fridge it is not worth the risk. ... show more

I recommend this product. I waited to write the review for 6 months until I knew for sure this product worked. We keep the freezer setting on 2 and my food is frozen solid. No issues with this little freezer. It is perfect for a single person as it does not have a lot of room. The shelves are not movable and there is no light inside. It was very easy for me to pull inside the house and my husband helped me to unbox it and move it to its permanent location. I use this as my cake freezer. I am a home based baker. It keeps my cakes frozen so that I can decorate them easier. The shelves are spaced out far enough that a 6 inch high cake fits easily. It is NOT frost free. You will need to defrost this freezer on a regular basis as ice crystals build up over time. I checked many places before settling in this freezer and it’s price at the time was comparable to what I was seeing with other familiar name brands. ... show more

    • Works great but return/assistance window is too short!

This freezer works fine and was easy to set up; the size is great and there is plenty of storage. Unfortunately, our door is slightly crooked which impacts the seal around it. We didn't realize what was happening until it was too late to return (only 30 days!) or get assistance (3 months). Now the ice buildup on the inside makes it very challenging to open the door and our food storage space is significantly limited. We will need to defrost biannually at this rate, which is definitely a pain. We are still under warranty I believe, so hopefully we can still get it fixed... Just wish we would have had a little longer to detect issues and return/get assistance. ... show more
