I've purchased two Arctic King freezers; A 5.0 (cu. ft) in 2020 and and a 7.0 in 2023. It's 2025 and both freezers have been working as well as could be expected. Stuff is always frozen solid. I've read a lot about people putting these on their porch or out in the garage, and having trouble with temp control but both of mine are kept in the basement so they have it pretty easy. I should mention the 7.0 got converted into a keezer and I use an Inkbird to keep the temp just above freezing because that's the perfect temp for beer. I graph the temperature history to monitor and it's within two degrees of the set point all day long. It's been a fantastic combination. I've never gotten that kind of consistency out of any fridge before. Both of these have quiet compressors. I never hear the 5.0 running actually but it's always cold.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Just the right size for my space. I liked the black color also because it looks nice with the surroundings. Quality: Works wonderfully. Easy to defrost. Storage capacity: Actually able to hold quite a bit of food. Big on the inside, with one basket.

This is the first freezer I have ever bought, so my knowledge is...limited I guess. What I can say with certainty based on my own experience is that overall it exactly what I wanted. It's a good size, it is big enough to store what I wanted to store and small enough I can move it around alone, the price is right, it doesn't hike my electricity bill, the temperature control doesn't give me any problems...It's only been about a year so I can't speak to how long it will last, just that it still works perfectly. The only thing I can even say about this is that even slightly negative is that it came slightly dented, but I think that just gives it character...actually now that I think about it, the freezer came earlier than expected too so...yeah good product, and so far worth the money.

Don't buy fridges/freezers on Amazon. 4 out of the 5 I've bought have been defective units. Mini fridges have been fine but avoid full sized appliances. I plugged this freezer in and waited a couple days to confirm it went to freezing temps. It was working fine so I filled it with perishables and within a couple days it stopped working. Ruining everything inside it. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, turned it on again, and again it worked for a day or two before shutting down (light off, defrost, etc). Clearly a defective unit. The seller is now trying to make me pay to ship back this massive freezer and gave me a return label for stamps (to make it look like they complied with my return request). Obviously I cannot use stamps to return a 7 cubic foot freezer. Do not buy this. There's a reason it's half the price as all the other freezer's of the same size. I am assuming the seller has tons of fake reviews to be featured as "Amazon's Choice"

I like the freezer so far. However, it was damaged when we got it last week. It has 3 dents in the front of the freezer. Not enough I don't believe to have an affect on the operation but not thrilled about receiving a damaged product that I paid good money for. Edit....I contacted amazon about the damage and they credited the purchase to a gift card. The freezer seems to work well despite the dents. Fingers crossed

Really happy with the unit I received. I saw several other reviews reporting damaged shipments, however mine arrived pristine. The freezer is very quiet, the only noise is the occasional click when the freezer is adjusting temperature. Happy with my purchase, the only question is longevity of the unit.

As you can see from the photo the Arctic King 7.0 cf chest Freezer has settled right in it feels like it's been here for years it was so easy to setup didn't cause one distraction easy breezy lightweight your grandmother could carry it up a flight of stairs I don't know what most people paid I paid 198 it arrived when it said it arrived damage free I can tell you how often I'm as happy about getting something and it does what it says 2 hours Frozen like a rock if I could think of a bad thing to say it I still wouldn't. That's how happy I am with it. And 5. that's how many times in my life I've been as happy buying something. Not to be confused with how many times I've been happy. Stay tuned.
