The chest arrived dented on the lower corner edge in two places. I didn't detect any damage to the box it came in. I will not return as there appeared to be no damage to the inside of the chest.

I chose this freezer over others because it had the lowest kWh usage per year for its size. The description explicitly states "energy consumption of 0.5 kWh/24h" which is 183 kWh/yr. The yellow EnergyGuide sticker is not given. However, once it arrives, you'll see that it actually uses 250 kWh/yr - far more than competitors I would've chosen had I known the correct figure. Some reviews have stated it comes dented but I'm like I'll test my luck. Yep nope shouldn't have bought it. Thank God I make decent money but 500 is still a pretty penny to spend on something and have it arrive damaged. The box it came in was fine so I'm lead to believe it was damaged before shipping not during. I took my hammer to the lower corner where the dial is located and had to bang it back into place while holding the dial into the cut out of the deep freezer where it's supposed to be. I really wish I would of taken pictures but I was so pissed when I saw it that I didn't think/plan ahead. It does still work and for that reason I do plan on keeping it.
