I bought this bed for my guest bedroom and I am very happy with it. I wanted the storage and to free the closet, but also hated the limited capacity of the drawers on the old bed. It arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition. It took a couple of hours to put together, I had no issues assembling it on my own. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.- I assembled steps 16-19 first and set aside, because I wouldn’t have the space to put that together in the same room after the bed was set up.- It is beautiful, heavy duty, sturdy, a great buy for the money. The storage under is easy to access, although it is initially tricky to get the hydronic mechanism to easily move down. But once you apply steady pressure to each side, right over each piston until it moves, they loosen up enough to be able to push down from the center of the footer without issues. The wooden slats are firm & support the mattress nicely. There is no creaking no squeaking. Excellent choice for rooms where extra discreet storage is needed.

I bought this bed for the hidden storage. It’s pretty and hides all the things. I was truly stoked for this. But — the mechanism on this bed failed within 45 days of use! I have lifted the bed up approximately five times before the pressure lift failed, fell out of the bed frame, broke the wood paneling and damaged my floors. I’m so beyond bummed. We did not exceed the weight limit, it was installed properly (I’m an Interior Decorator and install furniture professionally) and it still broke. Cheaply made and am praying to god they refund me for this because it is 100% unfixable. Unfortunately I don’t recommend.

Looks very nice, and has a large amount of storage space underneath. I’m using this for a guest bedroom so it won’t be slept on regularly- I don’t think I would recommend this for a bedroom where it is used daily as the base seems a bit fragile. Especially when the storage is opened the base seems to wobble around a lot.

I really regret purchasing this bed. The setup was an absolute nightmare — it took me over 5 hours to put together. The manual was poorly written and incredibly unhelpful. The bed comes in countless pieces, each of which needs to be attached, and the process is unnecessarily complicated. I consider myself pretty skilled at assembling furniture and usually don’t struggle with these things, but this was on a different level. If you’re not a handyman, don’t even bother — you’ll be beyond frustrated. On top of that, the final look doesn’t match the pictures at all. The photos online are clearly taken by professionals with perfect lighting and angles, but in person it looks much less appealing. Overall, not recommended at all. If I knew it would be this difficult and disappointing, I never would have bought it.

The problem is for returning. If you want to return you have to carryvthis bulky 125 pound item by yourself and this for someone with back pain or old age is not possible.
