Great wood splitter
I got this for my husband for Christmas! It works great for short logs. It is meant for 8-10” logs. We go through a lot of kindling. This works great!

Doest work
This thing doesn't split anything. It just gets wedged in the first inch of the log. If i apply too much pressure it slips right of the narrow base. Im returning it

EXACT QUALITY I WAS HOPING FOR, THAT'S WHY I SPENT A LITTLE MORE.
THE BOX WAS WRECKED WHEN I GOT IT, BUT IT'S SO HEFTY THAT IT CAME UNBLEMISHED TOO.

Too short
Most wood is cut to 16". I have cedar fence boards that this doesn't work so well on, needs to have one more step at the bottom to fix the angle of attack so the wood doesn't slip. Works good on shorter cut wood

Pretty Good Product
Great for kindling splitting so long as wood is not to long. This tool likes shorter pieces.
