Engineered to get the most bang for your buck, the new Full Boar log splitters are designed with features that let you increase performance while saving time working effectively The backbone of this log splitter is a heavy-duty H-beam construction for a reduced beam deflection during log splitting. With a specially shaped 2-way wedge, a 13.8 second cycle time along a 22 and 3/4-inch stroke, you can easily and efficiently split logs up to 24 inches in length. For an added convenience, the hydraulic cylinder handle, smoothly pivots the machine from a vertical position to a horizontal position allowing you to roll and move heavier and larger diameter logs and position them in place without having to lift them. This 38 Ton log splitter has 16-inch diameter approved DOT road tires, and standard 2-inch ball hitch coupler with safety chains giving you the versatility of not being stuck in one spot and being able to tow it and do your splitting on site. Will take two or lift to assemble. Some alignment issues, but minor. The only plastic I had on motor was the air filter cover, carburetor cover and oil dipstick. Motor ran well and powered through the cycles. The machine is a beast. I’m happy with it, but the test will be how long it lasts. if it fails in a short time, I’ll update my review. I order this log splitter and had it for a couple months so it's time for a reveiw. To start off, the log splitter arrived about 2 weeks after the delivery date because the freight service they used is garbage. Then on top of that, when I assembled it, the hydraulic pump hose that came on it was too short causing a kink in the hose which is a serious problem that could cause the hydraulic pump to starve for fluid and possibly fail. I ended up having to replace it with a longer hydraulic hose. Once that was fixed it was time to start it up. It fired right up and ran for about 30 mins before the motor seized and shut off and would not start back up due to loss of compression. I contacted customer support and they asked to send pics and videos of the pull starter thinking that was the problem. I knew it wasn't the problem but I went through their process anyways and they said the pull starter was broken and needed to be replaced. They sent out a new pull starter and I installed it and still had the same problem of the engine not starting and having no compression. I emailed customer service back and told them it didnt work still and they said the next step was to replace the motor. They said the engine was back ordered and would be in in about 6 to 8 weeks. They went ahead and placed the back order for the new engine for me and I was surprised when it shipped out to me the next week. Once I got the new engine and installed it, the log splitter ran like a champ and I have split 2 face cords of wood so far with easy and no issues. I give this product a 4 star and not 5 because of the long delivery time and issues I had with the machine. I think the bad engine might have just been a fluke but full boar really needs to include a longer hydraulic pump hose on their machines to prevent it from kinking. Overall I am very happy with the log splitter aside from the issues I had when I first got it. ... show more

    • Very cheap engine
Arrived today. Spent 2 hours assembling it. Help will be needed. Motor wouldn't stay running. It was the fuel shutoff. Don't put it in the "On" location, follow the little tiny black arrow that you can't see without a magnifying glass. Tons of plastic on this cheap engine, I'm almost certain it won't last long. I'll let you know if it splits good or not. ... show more
