This H6038FB FULL BOAR Gas Powered log splitter let you take on the most demanding of log splitting jobs. At an Affordable price, it is rugged, compact and built for optimal power and durability. Engineered to get the most bang for your buck, the new Full Boar log splitters are designed with features that let you increase performance while saving time working effectively The backbone of this log splitter is a heavy-duty H-beam construction for a reduced beam deflection during log splitting. With a specially shaped 2-way wedge, a 13.8 second cycle time along a 22 and 3/4-inch stroke, you can easily and efficiently split logs up to 24 inches in length. For an added convenience, the hydraulic cylinder handle, smoothly pivots the machine from a vertical position to a horizontal position allowing you to roll and move heavier and larger diameter logs and position them in place without having to lift them. This 38 Ton log splitter has 16-inch diameter approved DOT road tires, and standard 2-inch ball hitch coupler with safety chains giving you the versatility of not being stuck in one spot and being able to tow it and do your splitting on site. Will take two or lift to assemble. Some alignment issues, but minor. The only plastic I had on motor was the air filter cover, carburetor cover and oil dipstick. I had bought another brand, it was terrible, not honest. This splitter is SERIOUS! A+A+A+A+, really well built, lots of gussets and double plating. Even though this is built in China, it has very high quality standards. Do not pass on the $250 hydraulic log loader. I still can't believe I can buy a heavy duty wood splitter on Amazon and get it shipped to me free. The crew liked the splitter so much that we actually bought a second one.

    • Poor design of the pump suction hose. Think twice about ordering this unit.

There is a major design flaw in the pump suction hose, where the hose gets kinked and will eventually starve the pump from hydraulic fluid and burn up the pump. I contacted customer service to let them know my concerns and all they did was send me another hose that Does not address the issue of the suction hose kinking. I installed the new hose that was sent to me as a solution and as I had stated in several emails to them, I was concerned about starving the pump now the pump does not create any pressure. Naturally if I’ve known about the flaw and design, I would’ve never ordered this unit. I’m hoping that I finally get a solution to this problem. Update, the company “Yardmax” sent me a new hose and a 90° elbow and after installing it, there is no kink in the hose as you can see in the attached picture. The unit seems to be working properly until I put it into action I won’t know everything but at this point it seems like the Problem is resolved. It is a beast of a log splitter.
