Dewalt makes some of the best battery operated tools. There batteries are just as good as the tools. The battery lasts a good long time wether Sawzall cutting lilac stumps or weed wacker taking care of all the trimming two batteries get it done. The half inch drill can Raise or lower the four wheel Jack's on the boat lift, then drill holes for hours on a single charge. ... show more

I have been extremely happy with DeWalt products as a homeowner. I have several tools and none of them have disappointed me. The battery life seems to be good when the appropriate size is selected. My only grief is the the expense of the batteries.

So far so good. Small ones that came with kit lasted 9 months. These are bigger hope they last longer.

    • Good quality better than those look a likes that are not the true dewalts
So far they have held a charge pretty good and they last a lot longer than some of my other batteries do will buy them again when I need new batteries again or some of my others stop charging so far I have 2 5 amp hour batteries 1 4 Amp hour and I think 3 or 4 of the 1.5 Amp hour ones have 3 impact drivers and 1 hammer drill the impact drivers 1 was smoking 1 day from a lit of use so I bought a new 1 then a few years later I found 1 in the trash so that is why I own 3 of them and they all work great ... show more
