    • It's DeWalt.....they are great. If using basic 2Ah sets, great upgrade.
It's a Dwalt battery pack. Was a great price for 2 5Ah and charger too. In store it's like 30 more bucks least round here. 5Ah is great for contractors. I'm an assembler and built all day with just one battery and the indicator never went to the second light. 5Ah for an impact or drill is the butter zone for a contractor battery unless using specialized tools or voltages (like flex volt stuff or cordless big saws etc). Can't go wrong. Never had issues with Dewalt or Milwaukee tools or batteries (my go tos.) BTW, my Dewalt 20V Max drill and Impact are over 8 years old and work great still. My orogional batteries finally only held like 50% power and they were 2Ah. These are a great upgrade to a set of beat to heck tools still doing the job of a tradesman. Batteries finally stop holding charge. Part of it. But their tools are beyond capable of their praise. Why DeWalt has been a leader for over a decade. ... show more

    • After 1 year, still working great with my power-hungry leaf blower.
I purchased these batteries about 1 year ago and I have been very pleased with their performance. I most often use them with a cordless leaf blower, to dry my cars after washing them so they don't form water spots on the paint. I have several other DeWalt tools, but my leaf blower seems to be the most power-hungry device. My existing DeWalt batteries were all 2AH batteries, which could not fully dry a car on a single charge, but these 5AH batteries do the job nicely! However, I recently purchased some different "DeWalt" batteries from another online marketplace, which I ended up returning because they turned out to be counterfeit. So that got me investigating my full collection of DeWalt batteries to see if any of them might also be counterfeit. I was a little concerned when I scanned the barcodes on these two batteries, and the DeWalt website said "Scanned Product not found." It made me wonder if these batteries might not be genuine. So, I decided to unscrew and open one of these batteries, to see what type of battery cells are inside. I understand that genuine DeWalt batteries use Samsung cells, while counterfeit batteries nearly always use lower cost no-name battery cells to save production costs. I was very pleased to confirm that these batteries do contain Samsung battery cells, so I believe they are genuine DeWalt. Good value for the price. Highly recommend. ... show more

There is something to be said about name branded. Theses are great batteries. They last long. Fit perfectly to my tools and its got a lot of power. Overall it works well with my similar branded tools. It is not as heavy even though it is a higher capacity.
