I recently purchased the mechmaxx 32 saw mill. I was worried that it might be flimsy and cheap, because the price was good. I opened the crate and was pleasantly surprised. The bolts are large, the metal is heavy duty. It went together well and it rolls perfectly on the tracks. I’ve already milled some large sequoia trees. Cuts real nice. Very happy with it. Model sm32.

We did extensive research before we bought a sawmill. Mechmaxx had the best reviews and so many YouTube training videos. The price was incredible with free shipping. It’s very sturdy and works as it should. We began milling as soon as it was assembled and had no issues. Easy to use. It was tricky to put together as the manual isn’t the best. But YouTube helped get it done. Peaks Peak was probably the best. We are milling to build a home and so far so good.

We had a lot of trees blown over during a few storm so I bout this to turn the trees into a 32x20 timber framed utility building. By the time I milled the floor frame and the 3 bents the mill had paid for itself. I’ve completed the building and even milled the siding. There are some things that could be better. The bolts vibrate loose quite often. But for the money it’s great. The engine has started on the first pull every time. This mill takes 127” band blades. This is not a common size so you will have to use the mechmaxx blades or have blades custom welded. The mechmaxx blades definitely aren’t the best blades you can get and struggle in white oak. For custom length blades your choices are extremely limited. You can 144” blades from pretty much every manufacturer but with 127” blades I can only find Simonds and ripper 37’s. The ripper 37’s are really good. I haven’t tried the Simonds yet.

After placing my order Mechmaxx shipped my sawmill within 2 days. The sawmill came packaged in a sturdy crate. There were some minor scratches on a couple parts but nothing unacceptable. I had a issue with the assembly instructions and reached out to Mechmaxx and they responded promptly the same day. The company did its best to help me with the instructions. Ultimately I'm very happy with customer service and their after sale support. The sawmill to my surprise is very well built. The metal used is thick and heavy duty. If a part is not painted it is zinc coated and so I expect a long life from this sawmill. The details in the instructions on how to setup and adjust the sawmill are very good and easy to understand. The sawmill cuts and operates wonderfully. Easy starting and powerful engine. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and experience dealing with Mechmaxx. I would recommend them and I am interested in purchasing other machines they sell.

Shipping was ok but no tracking. Arrived and setup fine. Engine wouldn't rev up. Disconnected the safety shut offs and it works great. Don't know for sure which of the 3 was bad but oh well, it works without them.
