    • Great addition to my DeWALT tools!
Style: Heat Gun
I put the heat gun through a good test going through several 5 hour 20vMAX batteries and it worked flawlessly on both the low and the high heat setting. I bought it during the Amazon Days sale for a great price so I was hoping it would hold up like my other tools, and it did fantastic. I definitely recommend for heat shrinking electrical wire sleeves, and it made short work defrosting a frozen coil. And the manual trigger lock keeps both your hands free when needed. Great product. ... show more

    • Heat gun spits out heat.
Style: Heat Gun
Its a heat gun, it gets hot. attatchments are nice and help with a few projects. if you own dewalt tools/batteries this is a no brainer. great for removing stickers, shrink wrap, plastic manipulation, so on so forth.

    • Perfect for Marine Electrical Work A Must-Have Tool
Style: Heat Gun
As someone who does a lot of electrical work in a marine environment, this DeWalt 20V heat gun has been a game changer. It heats up fast, is compact, and completely eliminates the need for extension cords. I use it regularly for heat shrink connections on my boat, or boat trailer and it performs flawlessly even in damp, salty conditions. The cordless freedom makes tight or remote jobs so much easier, and the build quality is what you'd expect from DeWalt tough and reliable. If you're doing marine or mobile electrical work, this tool is a no-brainer ... show more

    • Good overall but reviews on speed of output are accurate
Style: Heat Gun
Other reviews are accurate. It doesn't blow much air out, so you have to get close or take a while to heat things up as much as you might with a plugged in heat gun. That said, it does work as I expected and was able to produce sufficient heat for me job. Seems sturdy as well and fits my dewalt battery system. ... show more

It is a original Dewalt 20V Heat Gun, at first I was a little suspicious because of the price. It listed for, I own many Dewalt tools and it is all we use in many of our companys at work until I recently retired from Local Union Sheet Metal Worker #28 so I know the look and feel of a original this is a very fair price for this tool they go from $179 down to $90 ... show more

    • Good enough
Style: Heat Gun
Well made, like most DeWalt stuff. Put out good amount of heat, but not for long. It’s pretty anemic all around, but it got the job done. I used it to heat up plastic irrigation tubing to put on fittings, and for that it seemed to do the job just fine, though I ran out of battery just as I completed my project. ... show more

    • Great heat gun. Terrible tool to make friends.
Style: Heat Gun
It took 6 hours, but eventually I cooked a 37lb turkey with this thing. I then chucked the turkey off an overpass to an unsuspecting motorist in a convertible and yelled happy thanksgiving. He wasn’t very thankful, however. Probably because it’s March and it messed up his car. Oh well. It was a Miata; so it’s not like things were going great for him to begin with. ... show more
