I think this is the best pet door for wall installations. It does seem a bit expensive but it works and they last. I’ve had one for 4 years with no problems so I bought another without shopping around. I was disappointed on this one that didn’t include written instructions. I don’t have a printer here, so I have to pinch and zoom through installation instructions so they can save 10 cents on paper

I was able to install this door by myself, instructions were clear and easy to follow. The door is very well made! I ordered the Baboni pet door for wall first but it was huge and clunky to be adding to the house as a permanent door. I paid more for the Hale but so worth it. Looks amazing and better built. Pros: Well made Easy to take out flaps for training Easy to install Great sleek look for permanent fixture in the house Easy hard door to lock door from the inside when needed. Cons: Flaps are very heavy. This may not matter for a dog but I purchased this door for my cats and I haven't been able to get them to use it very well with the flaps. Especially if you want to use both flaps. I wish there was a way to order thinner or less heavy flaps for cats. I may have to figure out how to make my own. I don't think dogs will have a problem with them though. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

I’ve been wanting to replace my existing dog door for a while. This product was well worth the investment. My original door I had to frame out to make it work through the wall and this one is so much better for keeping the weather out. It’s high quality and seems to be super durable. Ive only had it in for a week but definitely keeps rhe wind and weather out better than my original petco ones. I would say if you have basic handyman skills and some time you can do this yourself. The instructions are straight forward. But I’m lazy and would rather pay someone to do it next time. I would highly recommend

My installer loved the metal interior pass thru and cut the metal with ease. Only wish flange/trim was wider for coverage when there is any cutting errors or stucco chipping. Great product!

Great door. I can't speak to the installation since I had someone do it. It looked involved and i would definitely hire a professional unless you're quite handy (which I am not). The flaps work great and my dog is loving life with her new-found freedom!
