I bought the brown one. Not an eyesore. I had our handyman install it. It’s expensive, but worth it in my opinion. We live in AZ and I didn’t think a plastic one would hold up to the heat. My pup is loving her freedom to come in and out as she pleases. Locking slide door is a bonus!

Door is good. I should have gotten. The longer size, but I made this work. I had one magnet fall off but that is an easy fix. It is much better than our door mounted single flap dog door.

I was able to install this door by myself, instructions were clear and easy to follow. The door is very well made! I ordered the Baboni pet door for wall first but it was huge and clunky to be adding to the house as a permanent door. I paid more for the Hale but so worth it. Looks amazing and better built. Pros: Well made Easy to take out flaps for training Easy to install Great sleek look for permanent fixture in the house Easy hard door to lock door from the inside when needed. Cons: Flaps are very heavy. This may not matter for a dog but I purchased this door for my cats and I haven't been able to get them to use it very well with the flaps. Especially if you want to use both flaps. I wish there was a way to order thinner or less heavy flaps for cats. I may have to figure out how to make my own. I don't think dogs will have a problem with them though. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

I’ve been wanting to replace my existing dog door for a while. This product was well worth the investment. My original door I had to frame out to make it work through the wall and this one is so much better for keeping the weather out. It’s high quality and seems to be super durable. Ive only had it in for a week but definitely keeps rhe wind and weather out better than my original petco ones. I would say if you have basic handyman skills and some time you can do this yourself. The instructions are straight forward. But I’m lazy and would rather pay someone to do it next time. I would highly recommend

Large tall wall mounted version already installed in the house that I purchased. Flaps needing replacement every six years after tearing to the point, they don’t approximate well to the frame. With shipping and tax the double flaps cost $180. I think this is a ridiculous price for two thick pieces of plastic with attached magnets. Also, even when new the magnets on the flaps, don’t approximate perfectly with the magnets on the frame. So there is some wind leakage. I would expect better for such an expensive unit. I would probably go with another less expensive brand if I needed to install one.
