Bulbs are remote control and will change to about six different colors and will blink if you want them to. Also will dim. All of this is a little bit over the top but whatever! Buy these. I am not handy, but these were very easy to assemble. I just followed the video and it was simple. Comes with two remotes, which is nice. I wish there was a timer feature, because I'm sure I'll forget to turn them off at some point, but overall very happy with them and how they look. The lights work well and respond almost immediately with the remote. We’ve had these lights for almost 6 months and usually only use them on the 3000K C setting because it matches the rest of the lighting in our home and the two major complaints I have with these lights is that the battery life lasts about 10-12 hours max and they take about 6 hours to charge to full capacity. They are great when they are fully charged and ready to go, but I do wish that the battery life was longer and that they didn’t take so long to charge. ... show more

I love this purchase. Definitely didn’t want hire wiring to be done. My husband was grateful, too. It took no time. I could have put them up too if I didn’t have to stand on the bed to do it. Charging the lights isn’t too much trouble except having to take shades off. Have to use a step stool to do it. Maybe my only complaint is that the lights could stay charged longer.
