I've had it a week, so far I LOVE it! Easy to set up, not too heavy to move around (the wheels help!) and not so noisy it interferes with phone calls or video meetings. The cats think it is too noisy but they'll come around. It is just a basic walking pad - only goes up to ~20 minute mile pace and does not incline. It is great for just getting your step count up and sitting less (I went from averaging less than 5,000 a day to easily getting more than 10k). I tend to walk aroud when I'm on phone calls and this walking pad is a great assist. Worried it will stop working since some of the comments indicate it breaks after a few weeks but so far so good! it doesn't work with my fitbit (which I knew from the comments before I bought it) and I am not interested in downloading the app, so it's a little challenging to track steps - I am starting with a goal of two 45 minute sessions of walking per day and that easily is a few hundred calories burned and 5,000 or so steps. Today I am at 7,000 steps before noon! Yay!

I’ve been using the WALKINGPAD C2 for a few weeks now, and I have to say—it’s been a game changer for my work-from-home setup! Pros: - Compact & Foldable: The folding feature is a lifesaver for small spaces. I can easily store it under my couch or bed when not in use. - Quiet Operation: It’s much quieter than I expected! I can take calls and attend Zoom meetings without distracting background noise. - Perfect for Under-Desk Use: It pairs seamlessly with my standing desk, allowing me to get in steps while working. - Remote & App Control: The included remote is convenient, and the app provides additional tracking features. - Sturdy Build & Smooth Walking Experience: Feels solid and well-made, with a comfortable walking surface. Cons: - Speed Limitation for Jogging: This is more of a walking treadmill. While it supports a brisk pace, it’s not ideal for serious running. - Takes Some Getting Used To: Since there are no side rails, balancing at first may feel tricky, but after a few uses, it becomes second nature. I had this same model since 2022 but dropped water on it and it shorted out so I bought this one to replace it. I tried downloading the app back in 2022 but I could never get it to sync with the pad. In troubleshooting, I read a lot of reviews and comments to the effect that the app spies on users (and doesn't do much else, given how many people reported sync issues). Given it's Chinese, that's believable. After reading that stuff and my frustration trying to sync the pad to the app, I just gave up and uninstalled it. I've had Fitbits since 2020 so I'm pretty comfortable using that app to track my workouts, etc. Back to today, using the pad, I find the max speed is locked at 1.9 mph. In troubleshooting this issue, I find that the only way the max speed can be unlocked is in the app. So basically they realized the app utilization rate was low so they came up with a way to force you to download it. This is complete garbage and I never would have bought this if I knew of this limitation. Why would a company that makes fitness equipment be SO insistent on you downloading their app? I get it could be a nice enhancement as an optional feature, but it shouldn't be mandatory in order to be able to use the most basic features of the machine... I'm probably going to try to find an old, wiped phone to connect to the wifi to complete this unlocking task, so they can get as little of my info as possible. But I am livid that this company operates this way. Shady af.

This walking pad is great for compact spaces—it folds up neatly and is long enough when unfolded to walk comfortably. The speed goes up to 3.7 mph, which is solid for both casual walking and a light workout. However, the companion app is buggy and sometimes doesn’t track all my walking sessions. The Apple Watch app doesn’t show my heartbeat, which is frustrating. I also couldn’t figure out how to use the automatic mode, even with their tutorial. It’s not the quietest, but with noise-canceling headphones, it’s not an issue. Overall, a good walking pad with some software drawbacks.

This walking pad is great! I'm walking 1-3 hours a workday without a second thought. It's got a remote control, but I'm running it from the app installed on my phone. I have had no issues whatsoever with the app, and connected it to my Health app so I can get "credit" for the steps. I used to work on a converted treadmill desk, but this is much better because I can use my full desk with monitor, notepad, etc. When I want or need to sit, I fold up the pad - it's REALLY easy to do - and push it to the side to move my chair into position - it's so quick and easy that I can do it even when I'm on a video call. It is quite quiet on low speeds and a bit louder the faster you go, but the placement of your mic and the heaviness of your footfall could give you different results. When I'm on a video call using a Jabra and keep the speed below 1.7, no one notices. So glad I made the decision - so far, it's been extremely worthwhile.
