I got this for my wife's office so that she can remain active while working at her standing desk, and she really likes it. The treadmill is sturdy, well-built, and functions smoothly and quietly. Control is intended to be primarily via the remote, since the console is all the way near the floor (and you don't want to have to adjust things that low while the treadmill is moving). The buttons on the console are intended only for use if the remote is lost or not functioning correctly. The treadmill speed ranges from 0.6 to 4 mph -- basically from a slow walk to a brisk walk/very slow jog. This is completely reasonable for this treadmill, since I would only recommend it for walking, for two reasons: (1) there are no handrails, so a stumble while running could lead to a serious fall, and (2) the treadmill is fairly narrow (14.5"), which would increase the risk of one's feet landing off the treadmill if actually running. The remote has buttons for Start/Pause, Speed Up/Down, and also to jump straight to 2 mph and 4 mph. I've found so far that the buttons aren't always completely responsive, especially the Speed Down button. Sometimes the button has to be pressed multiple times to register. Not sure if this is just a glitchy unit, or if it's a common issue with all of the remotes. Not that big a deal, since at the low speeds this treadmill works at, not being able to slow it down immediately while walking typically won't lead to serious fall. But hopefully this doesn't mean there's a higher chance the remote will fail in the near future. The remote comes with a CR2032 battery preinstalled, and the package includes an extra battery. The unit is light enough to be unpacked, moved, and set up by one person. There are wheels at the front that can help with moving it, and then a couple of feet that can swing into place to make it stationary. Overall, this is a good option if you're looking for an underdesk treadmill. The price is closer to those sold in big box retailers (from more well-known manufacturers) and significantly more expensive than other no-name or off-brand units on Amazon and other sites. But it can be a bit of a gamble with these lesser-known manufacturers, so I can say so far that this one is working well.

Walking pads are very popular right now - I ordered the SERVFIT for use in my home office - finally, I get to see what the hype is all about. It arrived in a flat box and I was able to lift it myself - it's heavy, but not excessively so. It took me about 15 minutes to get it out of the box and have it up and running - easy peasy. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. It's nice looking and does indeed, fit under my desk. There's a remote control with a wrist strap - that's a nice feature, having those controls so easy to access and on my person at all times. There's a nice display feature which counts calories burned, distance, speed and time spent on the pad. Noise level is in the acceptable range - it's not silent, but it's quieter than the full sized treadmills at my health club. Speed is more than acceptable - it goes to 4 miles per hour - anything more than say, 3.3mph and I'm jogging, with extra speed to spare if I really want to push myself (honestly, most of the time I just prefer to use it at a comfortable walking speed). All in all, this seems like a great choice for a budget walking pad and after several days of operation I haven't found anything about it I dislike or needing improvement. Recommended.
