These walkie talkies have been a fantastic addition to our outdoor play routine. We got the Blue, Pink, and Yellow set for our daughter, and not only does she love using them, but they also give me extra peace of mind when she wants to explore a little further from the house. The range is impressive for a kids’ toy—she’s been able to stay in touch with us from down the street or at the park nearby without any major signal issues. The sound is clear, and the controls are simple enough for a 4–6-year-old to use on their own. She picked it up quickly with no trouble at all. The bright colors are fun and easy to spot, which is great when they inevitably get dropped in the grass or left on a bench. The battery life has also held up well during long play sessions. Not the greatest quality. I had to add a piece of aluminum foil between the contact and battery as the battery was too loose in the housing. They also eat batteries like crazy. They are for my 8 and 6 year old kids and they are fairly harsh on them...but a higher quality item may actually last longer. We shall see how long these last as I don't have high expectations...but the price was pretty low so I had to give it a try. I probably would not buy again though once these do go out (or get lost) ... show more

My 3 grands had a blast with these walkie talkies! The youngest is not quite 5 & had problems keeping her talking button on but she still loved it. The oldest is 9. I got a kick watching their creativity!! Not so sure their parents liked them so much!
