Upon arrival I was disappointed with this product due to the fact that the packaging had been rather battered and as a result there is a small dent on the one side. One of the corners at the base was also knocked in slightly. However, there are no cracks or integrity issues, so this attests to the durability of the product. Pros: Box is cute and the humming bird carving in the front is pretty. The other 3 sides of the box are solid with the top and bottom pattern going around the 4 sides of the box. This makes it ornate without being flashy. The necklace is really great quality and am very impressed with it. The chain is 21" long, so should be a comfortable fit for most. In the center is a silver heart. The inner ring reads "No longer by my side" and the outer ring reads "Forever in my heart". The top piece screws out of the heart, to allow for ashes to be inserted. The inside of the urn is very well designed, so ashes should remain contained even if not in a plastic bag. However it is not sealed with paint or varnish. Once the base is attached 4 rubber feet are provided and can be screwed in with the base plate screws. This is a nice touch and will keep the product secure on any counter top as well as stop it scratching surfaces. For its size, it's a reasonable weight and will serve its purpose. Product comes with a velvet bag, little screw driver, rubber feet and 4 screws to secure the base plate and rubber feet. The necessary tools are provided for the necklace as well. 4 stars as I'd have liked a handle of some sort. I'd also have preferred the urn to open at the top instead of the bottom. Even though this has nothing to do with the manufacturing of the product, I feel that the condition it was received in should receive consideration.

Great quality comes with everything that you need for the price I paid it will last a long time very durable for my mom's Ashes and the bag fits perfectly over the whole urn. My mom loved hummingbirds and gardening and it's so beautiful that captures everything. My mom was about a 180 pounds in it holds her ashes very sturdy and the necklace is a bonus I can carry her with me wherever I go.

The pictures don't do this urn holder any justice. I've been trying to find something to put my mom's ashes in for such a long time, but nothing seemed right. I'm so happy and honored that I got to see this and test it out. They give you a lovely (Very big) crushed dark blue velvet bag to put the ashes in. The heart necklace is a very special touch, and it will mean the world to my sister when I give it to her. The only unsturdy part is putting the screws in through the foot holds. There's no automatic stopping mechanism, so be careful or you will push the screw into the plastic foot holds. Besides that's, it's big and sturdy, and I couldn't really ask for anything more special.

This unit is very thoughtfully and gracefully manufactured. It is solid wood with a smooth, medium brown finish and nice, darker shadow stain accents that gives gentle, detailed depth to the bas-relief carved artwork. This urn's main art is that of a gentle hummingbird hovering about its business in the flowers. This urn more than fulfills its purpose with the perfect size which has more than enough room to hold all of the remains of your loved one. It is solidly constructed and very suited for its purpose. It includes a black, faux velvet pouch with a drawstring that functions as the separator between the box walls and it fits neatly into the square unit. The unit is easily and permanently sealed from the bottom with included screws. This order also includes a little pendant that can have a small bit of the creamains put into it, functioning as a perfect keepsake. The price is considerably lower than many of the earth destined ash containers I have looked at. My mother recently passed and I haven't yet placed her next to her husband. I am an artist and she asked me to create her urn for her before she passed. After I completed her urn, I had planned on burying her cremains in that one, but now that I have this one, I think I will place part of her ashes inside of it and keep it. It merely looks like an artistic piece of carved woodwork on the mantle or an placed in another appropriate place in the house. Her mother's favorite bird was the hummingbird and this way, I can kind of think of them together if that makes sense. This urn and its freely floating, beautiful little hummer helps to make a sad and seemingly gruesome end seem more like a new beginning in freedom.
