Extremely easy and simple video walkie talkie toy for 2 very young children (ages 3-10) to see/talk to each other playing within 1-2 homes/properties distance (nextdoor neighbors). Purely for fun when actively playing together in a relatively short and well defined safe area (eg playing hide and seek in the house, or across neighbors yards, or across the elementary school yard). I highly recommend these based on that age and use, and love them enough that I bought another set from another brand just to compare them (they're practically the same, though not interchangeable) and will be giving them to nieces, nephews and grandkids as birthday gifts or holiday gifts. The size and construction are fine for baby toys, not waterproof or dirt/sand/dust proof, but not too likely to break falling 1-2 feet from a young child’s hand, especially if you attach/use the wrist lanyards. Mostly smooth design seems safe for tiny ones, no long poking antenna to break off or gouge during a trip and fall. They charge via USB-C cable, which is included, but you will need to plug the cable into your own USB-A (most common type) charger (most people have an extra laying around). Camera and screen quality are great for the price. Mic/speaker is very quiet, but can hear each other in a quiet house. Controls are extremely simple: - and on/off switch (turns on the cameras and screens which connect immediately, no channels nor other buttons required) - up/down volume button (but very quiet even at max volume) - push to talk button - camera switcher (short press) and voice switcher (long press) button. Camera switch is fun for very little kids (age 2-4) more interested in seeing themselves than others. Voice switch (high pitch, low pitch, weird pitch, normal) is fun for older kids (age 7-10) who are bored or goofing off with it. Great for 1 brother/sister pair or child/parent pair for playing in the home or yard or next door. These are not FRS radios (they dont even have a channel switch) but similar to 2-way video baby monitors, each with a push to talk button. There is no hands-free or voice-activation (VOX) mode, so these require actively pressing the push to talk button when speaking, which in that way they are different from a baby monitor or speakerphone. The 2 devices are pre-linked together and cannot be changed out nor add more to the group. Their indoor range solidly covers the whole house, whole yard of the typical 1/4 acre suburban property 1-2 homes/yards/properties in each direction (nextdoor neighbors or across the street neighbors). Their outdoor range with lots of trees, fences, play equipment (forest campground, or school campus, or apartment complex) is around 100 yards/meters, or if very clear visual sight (flat open field in outdoor park, no trees or buildings) then 300 yards/meters. Very fun and playful and a great toy, but not for important contact and communication. When you lose signal, you lose audio and video simultaneously, for large gaps of time, not a light frame stutter or freeze, not audio static, but rather a very visible graphic showing no connection, with no audio, same as if one of the devices is off.

These are so cool very easy to use and for the price not bad. The kids love them and the durability seems to hold up against a toddlers sound quality is excellent. I like that. You don’t have to put batteries in them. You charge them and the straps are very convenient so the kids don’t lose them.
