  • Worth every penny!
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
AMAZING! I bought these and the more expensive blue tooth pair. These work wonderfully! We shoot trap for hours. I bought them because it's hard to hear everyone talk with normal plugs, but not having anything hurts my ears. These are great! I put the wire in my ponytail or hair clip. They stay in really well. The bluetooth ones are still too loud for me at the lowest setting? These are perfect. Battery lasts all day while on. The Bluetooth ones wire causes static rubbing sound but these don't. The only thing I would change is smaller sizes, and the wind is really loud on a super windy day but that's all. Worth every penny! ... show more

  • Probably better for outdoor range
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
Easy enough to setup and fairly comfortable, decent hear protection although not good enough for indoor range shooting as the noise cancellation isn't quite what it's claimed to be. Outdoors should be fine, but after 2-3 uses indoor, went back to traditional earmuffs. I would question the 29dB noise cancellation claim as it pales in comparison of the 23dB stated on the traditional earmuffs... The microphone works well enough, although with a slight but noticeable amount of static. Kind of puzzled as to why there is no indication that the unit is ON, i.e. the LED is only turning on when on USB to indicate charging... A good backup pair, definitely not 29dB noise reduction, but at $45 is a good deal. Would not buy at full $90 price. ... show more

  • Get these!!
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
This is the best ear protection that I have had in 50 years. I even wear them at my daughters band concerts. I can hear everything, just at a comfortable level. Awesome at the range too.

  • Worked ok until they were out of warranty.
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
Stopped working the month after the warranty expired. Sound deadening was good. Sound amplification was very tinny sounding.

  • OK
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
These things are ok at best. They definitely work to suppress the sound of gun shots but I ran into a couple things that were frustrating. 1. the cord between the two ear pieces would catch on everything from the but of my gun when shooting to the collar of my coats/shirts and yank out of my ears which then makes them useless. I took to routing the cord over my ears which certainly helped avoid the gun from catching but still was not a great solution. I would suggest the wireless version to solve this issue. 2. These sound very electronic for lack of a better word. I found it very distracting and even hard to understand people talking. It was like they were talking into a cheap microphone played through the cheapest earbuds you could find. Also the wind really affects these. If you are on a budget and want some electronic ear protection they do work as advertised but there are a lot better options out there for a little more money. ... show more

  • I Can Finally Hear
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
At my senior age I am using these to replace Hearing Aids that do not work. In order to participate in group events and hear what is going on, I am using these Walker Rope Hearing Enhancers. They work great for that purpose.

  • I'm deaf in 1 ear and needed to hear better - great for shooting.
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
I got these to enhance my hearing while hunting and shooting. Was a little nervous the first time I shot, but they worked perfectly. I could hear much better talking with my group while we were sighting in my 308 and every time I shot, the protector kicked in to bring the noise down to a bearable level It is important to get the foam earpiece that fits snug in your ear - they are also part of your protection. make sure they fit tight and seal well - if you shoot with the sound silencer off they should work to reduce the level on their own. Then when you turn them on they enhance the hearing , but also block 85db and above. I wish they had replaceable batteries instead of rechargeable ones, but so far they hold up well - we'll see if they still do come hunting season. I will probably carry a power bank just in case. The only issue I really had was typical of all sound amplification assistance devices I've tried - they amplify everything and don't really filter out sounds like engine noise, loud vibrations and such which obscure voices. I was hoping to use while driving with wife in the car, but the other noises still drowned her out - just like in my hearing aids. Great for shooting though and hoping they hold up well in the field this season. ... show more

  • Good outdoor earpro for hot environments.
Pattern Name: Ear Bud Rope Style: Standard
I bought these for shooting outdoor pistol and rifle in Florida, where 11.5 months of the year it is hot and over the ear can be too hot for me. They serve their purpose if your purpose is decent noise reduction at a decent price point. Right out the gate, these do not even compare to noise reduction over the ear muffs do. When I go to the indoor range, I use rubber plunger plus Walker's Razor electronics. I would never use these indoors. Outdoors, they provide sufficient noise reduction. Not as good os just wearing my Razors, but enough to take out the loud pop and not hurt my ears. The amplification is also much less than my Razors. These earbuds provide an OK level of noise amplification where I can hear people close to me talk, I can hear the starting timer, etc. These are not like Razors that you can hear the slightest whisper 20 feet away. I will say the audio quality is much better on these than Razors, they aren't as tinny or buzzy. There is also less echo. Battery life appears to be good. I have run then for 4-5 hours straight with no degradation of sound or dying. One small annoyance is the flimsy rubber charging port cover that always goes loose. I used one of my kids dental rubber bands and now it holds in place. Overall if you want good outdoors protection for not too expensive and does a decent job at keeping the noise down, you will like these. ... show more
