This is a replacement muffler that I put on a few years ago that was the SAME Walker 18204 that after 2 years,It RUSTED OUT with GIGANTIC RUST HOLES IN IT ! Kinda funny that before THAT Walker muffler, I had the first replacement also ROT RIGHT OUT INTO A LOUD TIN CAN MUFFLER WITH HUGE RUST HOLES ! That first replacement lasted ALMOST 2 years ! Again...ALL WALKER brand 18204 . I have come to the conclusion that these WALKER Mufflers are total GARBAGE ! They are true junk when they last UP TO 2 years and ROT OUT ! My original muffler lasted 13 years and was finally STARTING to develop a small rust hole at a seam. I buy the Walker Brand EXPECTING Quality but when I take the muffler to the garage with the truck,The manager of the large garage always laughs and asks me why I buy GARBAGE Walker brand when he can put on a NO NAME brand from China that will cost LESS and he said they last 4 to 5 years. When this one ROTS OUT as I KNOW IT WILL....I will try the $29 No Name CHINA MUFFLER that LOOKS the same and he said is exact SAME SIZE . He even said that YEARS AGO Walker Exhaust was true QUALITY and now,They are just cheaply made with poor metals and RUST OUT every few years so they can sell MORE ! Never Again Walker ! ... show more

    • Not too loud, not too quiet, just about right.
Fit and finish is good. Exhaust note isn't too loud, I'd say in terms of volume this is close to the original muffler that was fitted to my car new in 1987. It's put the car back to how it should be, which is nice. While not a direct OEM replacement, the measurements given are accurate and I was able to fit it without trouble. ... show more
