The media could not be loaded. I have been looking at these for almost 9 months now. Every maker, every aspect of every single one of them that have been on amazon.com. This was one of the ones I had on my watchlist and when I got the notification that it was on sale from $435 to $213, I decided to make the leap and I am so glad that I did. First off, BRAVO on quality packaging for shipping. As soon as I realize that they had light wood as the side paneling to protect the item inside, I knew I was going to be pleased. This was protected so well that if it was chucked outside of a FedEx truck, going 95 miles an hour, nothing would’ve broke. Not a single dent, scratch or ding on the actual product itself. This is heavy duty, higher quality particle board. If you’re familiar with particleboard, you know that there’s the cheap kind that flakes easily then there is the higher quality one, and this is that product. Once I had this thing assembled, which took my daughter and I in 30 minutes, I knew I made the right choice. This is so well-made that a tornado could come through the house, and this would still remain standing. Directions were easy to understand and all parts were accounted for and even extras included. Illustrations were idiot proof as well. Fireplace is a 24” insert which works for me. Throws off the right amount of heat. I like that I can have the fireplace on with or without the heat which can be turned on separately with the switch. I wish this came with a remote control but for $213, I am not going to think twice about it. If for some reason you do not like the fireplace that came with this unit, you can swap it out easily for any 24 inch insert that you can find anywhere online including Amazon. Overall, I think this is going to go down as one of the best purchases I’ve ever made here on this app. I am extremely happy with this unit and the fireplace itself. If you were debating whether or not to get this and it is still $213, I am telling you to throw it in your shopping cart and buy it right now. You will not be disappointed! ... show more

I've been wanting one of these for awhile. This was a good deal so I bought it for myself for Christmas lol. My adult kids put it together. It was seamless and didn't take that long. It goes well with the rest of my furniture. My house is small so this is a great addition. Even though it doesn't have a remote included I still love it... one more thing to lose right? This is a gorgeous TV stand. I love the little almost realistic fireplace. It was easy to build by myself and instructions were pretty clear. Only issue is the heater can get loud. This was an incredible purchase! I put it together myself in about an hour and 45 minutes and it was very easy. The instructions were clear and it seems very sturdy! Also, the wood color is wonderful and matches my flooring so well. Don’t pass this up you will regret it!

I’ve been shopping for a fireplace TV for some time, for my small apartment. I downsized last year and have been replacing older large furniture. I actually discovered fireplace TV stands by accident. I knew I wanted a Walker Edison because their products are excellent. I was concerned about assembling this one on my own as I recently had a knee replacement. My lack of mobility meant that it took me a long time to assemble, over four hours. I had zero problems as the instructions were excellent and the holes perfectly drilled. The packaging was superior with wooded pieces at each end of the large box for added protection. Everything was well labeled, and the instructions were the best I’ve ever seen. I have zero mechanical aptitude by the way. The stand is perfect for my 65” TV, and the right height for my small space. I love that I can have the appearance of the fire without heat if I choose. The fireplace puts out just enough heat that I can lower my central heat thermostat. I’m a very happy customer! ... show more

I've been wanting this for a while. I researched as much as I could in a lot of different ones. I love the color it's a grey wood not too much of a pale grey. It arrived ahead of schedule. I'll recommend buying some better wood glue for dowels though. Also beware when putting it together one piece was not right. It was supost to be opposite of the other and it wasnt. I didn't feel like waiting in the right piece so hubby and I fixed it. There are many places to keep it tighten up. Assembly was about 2+hours. Could have been much less of we had the right part. Manual I'm guessing is out dated. The fireplace insert was not like the manual. It didnt take a genius to know what to do to screw it in place. Once assembled if you need to move it pick it up with help. If you scoot it the piece under it to give a little more security comes loose and could break if you're not careful. I do wish the fireplace had a remote but I don't mind getting up to turn it in. Also there's only an in for heat no heat level. There is an only flame no heat feature. I'll update if anything happens to the one we bought. Updated nov 2016 it has since bowed in from a 48in tv weight. The tv is average size for a new aged flat screen and the stand shouldn't have bowed in. I'm disappointed in it and looking for a new stand. The fireplace insert itself was used sparingly and still works amazingly. The stand folded in and collapsed when we moved it two feet. It’s the worst piece of junk. ... show more
