Super pleased with this TV mount for my new 55" that we put in the bedroom. The price is great, I remember paying WAY more for my first one 10 yr ago in our family room. The only issue I had was figuring out which spacers to use for my TV so I called customer service and they were great, told me within a minute what I needed and I was on my way. Turned out my math skills were correct and I had figured it out on my own already but it was good to verify my thoughts. It is a little weird how the brackets are two that you screw together. I'd probably prefer one big cohesive piece but they seem sturdy with 4 screws together and each piece bolts into the wall separately so I think it's still a solid design. I like the tilting feature, which I wasn't really shopping for but since this is in our bedroom and the installation spot required it to be a little higher than the bed, tilting it the full 8 deg was a nice addition so our eyesight is in line with the middle of the TV. It was also easy to hang/hook on the bracket and then lock in place. I love how there are straps to quickly unlock it for removal, although that might mean it's easier to steal. My living room TV, again it's 10 yr old, is locked into the bracket so you can't get it off unless you had tools. No way that's getting stolen. It's been 10 yr since I've bought one so I'm not sure if this is the newer way or it's just this particular model but for a cheap bedroom TV it's a nice feature. Now, when are you really going to unhook it to take the TV off? Right... so maybe not a big deal but still, something to consider. All in all it's a quality product for the cost, has nice features (tilt, easy unlock), is sturdy, easy to install and the customer service was really good to help when needed.

I purchased this for my 75 inch TV, and mounted it over my fireplace which has a shelf. This mount is very sturdy and easy to install. The only problem I had is the cord on the lower mount is to short. Because of the shelf, I can't get my arm behind the TV to grab and secure to lower mount. So if you're installing this above a shelf, make your cord longer

I absolutely HATE hanging things. I LOATHE having to hang things. No matter what I do, whatever I hang is either crooked and I have 20 holes in the wall from having to adjust it, or I miss the stud and have more holes in the wall. This was so easy to install. It came with a kit that made it a breeze to keep level and straight. The fit is perfect for the 75" tv I purchased. The only downside is that you should plug everything in prior to hanging the tv, since it does not have any range of motion from the wall. There is very little space to reach if you don't plug your cords in before hanging it. It's easy to unlatch and remove though. I definitely recommend!

I’m really glad I went with the Mounting Dream UL Listed TV Mount. When I first saw how simple and narrow this thing looked, I was a bit skeptical—especially since I was about to hang a hefty 75” LG TV on it. But, no worries—it handled the job like a champ! Installing it was surprisingly easy, though lifting the TV higher than my wife’s shoulder height was a bit of a struggle (seriously, TVs are heavy!). We got it up, and all was well until a few days later when Florida’s infamous lightning claimed my TV. No fault of the mount, but it did mean I had to take the TV down, get a new one, and mount it all over again. I was a little nervous about whether this mount would work with another big TV, especially since the bracket on the new one looked different. But, to my surprise, the mount came with a variety of washers and screws, and the new 75” TV fit perfectly on the existing bracket. So if you’re worried about whether this mount can handle different brands and models, don’t be—it’s got you covered. One of the best things about this mount is how light it is. It’s sturdy enough for a heavy TV but not adding any unnecessary weight, which is a relief when you’re already dealing with a massive screen. A few things to note: the tilt angle works great for my setup (my sofa is about 10 feet away, and the mount is at 5’6” at the center), but if you’re planning to mount your TV really high or sit super close, the angle might not be ideal. Also, the space between the TV and the wall is pretty tight, so fitting a router or cable box behind there might be a squeeze. And while it doesn’t rotate left or right, I personally wouldn’t want to swing around a 75” TV anyway—better to keep things nice and steady. I recommend this mount for people who don’t need left or right tilt.

I've bought 4 of these. They are simple to install, and I've hung TVs from 55" to 85" with no issues. Just make sure you screw the mount into the wall studs. These fit tight to the wall, and there's really no room to get behind them to add HDMI cords (I guess that depends on your brand of TV), but pulling both strings unhinges the bottom of the mount; then you just lift the TV off the top of the hinge. Very straightforward. Again, this is for someone who wants the TV flat against the wall.
